I can't believe Amanda was EVER an alternate, it just shows how dumb the casting team is
I think there's a decent chance she would have debuted on Invasion anyway, don't know about Nelson though, he wasn't a big character on AYTO or Rivals 3. Suprising that he was even on Invasion but I'm very glad they gave him that chance cause he's been money ever since.
But crazy that everyone hates on Double Agents when it's a season where Theresa made her comeback.
why do you think we dislike it?
most people on here are saying it's one of the worst seasons. I'm sure some people liked it but people make it sound like rivals 3 level.
Nothing is Rivals 3 bad. I finally tried watching it a few months ago and couldn't finish it. Amanda actually made it 10x worse than it was before she arrived. But DA is in the battle for the next worse with The Island and Bloodlines IMO.
amanda was literally the only thing that made rivals 3 decent....pls stop making stuff up just to hate on her it's embarrassing
As a huge Amanda fan now, she made Rivals 3 unwatchable for me. I hated her so much at the time. I haven't rewatched as a fan to see if I feel any different now though.
same boat here as well! i just cant get myself to rewatch that abysmal season, but in rewatching just the clips of her fighting with Camila it definitely makes me appreciate Rivals 3 Amanda more......queen of hating Camila seasons before it was cool

You can love her all you want. I turned it off because of her and the lack of competition. She was better on Invasion but unbearable on Rivals 3.

Yeah Nelson on Rivals 3 was pretty irrelevant. I really thought he was one and done and was just there so Amanda could be on. He turned out to be a gem.
Idk about you guys but I actually think 37 will be a good season. It seems the rookies provided drama, and I'm sure the end-game with the vets turning on each other will be fun to watch. Definitely will be the best season since WOTW2 (which isn't saying a lot LOL). I just hope some of these rookies will come back for 38 and some of the boring vets don't.

It seems like it has potential, it just depends on editing. If we are contuining down the family friend path and leaving out the drama then it will be garbage.

Every season sounds good on paper then people start hyping up the first episode calling it the best in years and by the end of the season trashing the whole season because the cast figure out a way to cheat the system making things predictable. It's the exact same thing every season lol

It was obvious from the cast departure day what would happen. When you put all vets from the last couple seasons on who know the game and put them against a bunch of rookies who don't really know the show it's guaranteed to happen. This is 100% on production. Had Natalie, Jay, and maybe a few other CBS people it would have been way less lopsided.

I think production thought what many here kept saying. The vets would turn on each other and put CT Ashley Cory Kaycee with weak partners to get rid of them. And that would have happened if CT (or whoever) didn't pitch the "we need to take back our show"
They keep getting rid of all of their female villains. Like imagine Amanda didnt come back this season. Dee, Cara, etc.
Dee wasn't really all that exciting, but she had one thing going for her, she learned how to play this game really quick. By Total Madness she was playing the challenge like she was around for 10 seasons. She would have easily won again at some point.
I saw an episode of Total Madness with her scenes edited out and then a clip that showed all the scenes with her from that same episode that had been edited out and holy hell, the episode was 1000x more entertaining with the latter. She was a straight up good villain character. MTV should have just let that season rock with her scenes included for that reason. I think they made a bad call editing her out due to the controversy because again, she was the villain not Mother Theresa. They took away context from a lot of scenes.

Amanda didn't make that unwatchable for me BUT I definitely did not like Amanda other than her putting that illegal midget rat Camila in place. And then I changed my opinion of her Invasions, loved her.
honestly nelson sucks. a lot of people credit him for sacrificing himself for cory in TM, but he slutshames women and even joked/laughed about tori injuring liv in an aftermath episode. he gets by with the victim/"good guy" role he's given, but it really is karma that he's never won anything. we just let him slide bc we dislike others more (for valid reasons)
Agree with pr every season is the same at this point. A good first episode that gets way too hyped up, a couple other good episodes in the beginning, then once we get to the midway point the cast figures everything out and it becomes predictable and boring. I see this season going down that same path

Well they are actual idiots then lol. These vets know the game, know eachother and are playing against rookies with little to no knowledge of the game and who don't have loyalty to each other. Any person with a bit of knowledge could have figured out what was going to happen.

I think towards the end it can get interesting because of the vets cracking and turning on each other
Well hopefully the rookie drama gets edited in. I think that's another issue is that we get potentially good storylines and new characters cut because we need to show Bottom crying and throwing hissy fits every episode
I can't believe Amanda was EVER an alternate, it just shows how dumb the casting team is
Emy finalist queen
Does Emy still have her braces in? I do not want to watch a grown adult braceface all season.
Rivals 3 is a classic season and noone can change my mind on that.

Candice tease - with the blue hair and everything too
That teaser trailer is on the way baby! Lllleettts goooooooo!

yeah Rivals 3 was top 5 worst seasons too lol i can't rewatch any of Rivals 3 either

HFJDKSK josh deleted his ig post and all of his stories bet production told him to

Eh we say the same thing every season
" Maybe this season will be good "
" Omg Season 38 is going to be so much better "
I have given up hope and have accepted this show is what it is at this point.
I'm just waiting for them to pull the trigger and bring TikTok people on because that's next on the list
Well hopefully the rookie drama gets edited in. I think that's another issue is that we get potentially good storylines and new characters cut because we need to show Bottom crying and throwing hissy fits every episode
The good thing about the rookies getting flung in the first half is that they will probably get alot of screen time
don't you dare speak that into existence
