being "interesting" on survivor means absolutely nothing it's not even that type of show
We're probably not going to get a lot of Amanda, Ashley, etc types that cause big screaming fights. It doesn't mean that all Survivor contestants aren't interesting
there's only a good seven people from survivor who'd translate perfectly onto the challenge, i say their names every time this conversation happens though
where are you seeing that they're added cause nothing has changed? lol is this from jay or something
The only reason people were claiming Cory might be a no is because of when his kid's birthday is so that was just an assumption. Cory is one of those people I expect to be there until they are confirmed out.
I personally miss the days when the challenge was just MTV people even with Ayto in the mix and I wouldn't even care for internationals MTV stars. There is a level of trashiness that those that were cast by MTV on their first show has that CBS people doesn't have. Maybe it's just me that find CBS shows corny and don't have that connection with any of them because I don't watch their original shows

yeah that's a good point. I stand by the fact that Davonne was the only good thing to come so far.
I do think there's some potential with good albeit not trashy characters, but the others have been very disappointing

I agree, but Real World, Road Rules, and AYTO hasn't been on, so they can't get trashy rookies, and a lot of these vets (the ones they keep casting) aren't the "trashy" people they were before as well since some are older and are parents and stuff. The problem is their casting criteria for rookies. They need to change it to "young, fit, attractive, single, personality, etc" not "Athlete, won a competition show, has a lot of followers, came from an irrelevant show, etc"
i think they should've just limited their casting pool. it should've stayed strictly ex on the beach, are you the one, love island and big brother. + the international version of those shows.
pulling from american ninja warrior, beast master whatever and from seasons that aired almost a decade ago is unneccessary.
Also Ashley has a great point that when they cast characters over athletes, the show has a much better vibe. The athletes (beastmaster, etc) have been boring af

It's also boring when they cast people with all these sponsors and they don't provide nothing in the entertainment department cause they're worried about losing them. They need to get rid of those types of people to
You drop 10 hungry mfs in the jungle, they gon come back with chinchillas and bbq cheetah ribs.
The problem is The Challenge ain't a jungle, it's one of them bouncy houses that u get for the kids B-Day party.
Their rules, structure, and formats are trash. They don't encourage cutthroat competition. The TV production side is average. The show hasnt had a real identity since George Bush was President.
Ad the worst part is they think can dress the clown show up with helicopters and tanks and expect us to not realize this some bullshit.
Honestly I kinda like that the casting pool is so open, they just gotta cast better people since they have no excuse now
I mean I'm fine with it being open but America's Got Talent? Telenovelas? 1 episode girl from BB Canada?
We don't need it THAT open ****
What I'm saying is to me, the original shows aren't nearly as important as the people themselves, if they cast someone dramatic and competitive from 1 episode of Canada's next top model, I don't care.

The quality has definitely been on a steady decline. Every time they expand the casting pool it gets worse. However the ratings give them validation in these decisions unfortunately
Tbh- Cory has reach a level of irrelevancy on this show that he being there doesn't get me excited or bother lol
Another ghost cast member in the background
yeah he's honestly full circled as a reality tv character, we watched him from messy fetus to now being a dad with two kids. he's been on MTV for like 8 **** years straight
I'm gonna die if its ******* laurel
Cory, Hunter, Sean, Tony
It's raining men, baby! Let's go!
Maybe Jefra

I really wish the viacom merger happened earlier because we would've seen Janelle Pierzina on The Challenge and she was deadass MTV-type trashy on BB6

praying for michele
IMO it don't matter where they cast from.
