The Final Reckoning voting system flopped harder than the Red Skulls
All they were doing were placing throwaway votes on teams
i thought the FR voting system was good tbh, it involved a lot of strategy/thinking and led to so much good chaos. there were times where throwaway votes ended up backfiring which also made it fun to watch. the only thing i didn't like was that the dailies didn't really matter if you flopped.
i think the final reckoning system would be a lot better with an individual format though so that those shitty 'equalizers' wouldn't play a factor
Although this season hasn't been what we thought. I'm glad they did the red skull twist. It is a cool format. I think it could have worked better if there were more rivals in this season. I think if you have people who genuinely hate each other it could have been interesting. However, I hope they put this format, along with the team format in the vault for at least another 10 seasons.
No episode this season has produced an episode as great as the laurel vs ninja elim ep last season. Last season wasn't great but it had better moments than this one.

On paper breaking them mentally sounds like drama but it just got them in their feelings that some had to talk to psychologists or therapist which hasn't even be mention.
This season people are volunteering and at the end it's a win win situation if they lose they get out early instead of being stuck in a dirty bunker that smell like pee with lack of oxygen/no sun or they get their skull for the final.
Hell even the very Lukewarm fox show kicking and screaming had a much better incentive to go into eliminations, the winner of the elimination round got to choose a team to go directly in at the mext mission. They could do that on the challenge but make it a life sheild thing

I agree. I feel like most peoples mindset was I'm going in now so at least if I lose I can just go home instead of waiting until the end and not getting a red skull. The Red Skull idea on paper sounds good but it just makes things boring. Last season 80% of the drama was from voting/deliberation and now this season all we have had is Nelson saying out of pocket things and being called out every deliberation lol
They need to come up with better formats because the best seasons are the ones where most of the drama is voting/game drama.
Honestly I think the red skull twist would've been amazing had it been kept a secret until like the end lol

Wish Wes cared more about winning than making good tv this man really went down to face John who is like 5 time champ (I don't count Rivals) because he thought it would make good tv when Kyle, Josh and even Cory were still in the game smh

this is stupid, imagine getting to the end and playing an excellent game when the whole point is to make it to the end just to find out because you played well you now have to go into an elimination with most likely your alliance members? the whole twist is stupid IMO but not telling them until the end would have made me completely give up on the show.
