One of the factions inside the US team is Leroy, Zach and Nany I am guessing. Only explanation I got on why Leroy is still there is because he is protected.
Or hes winning eliminations which hes proven he can do many times
Honestly idk why people would be scared of Paulie and Cara Cara hasn’t won an actual elimination since invasion where she beat Ashley Kelsey. Paulie is 3-3 in elims and the three he won were cuz his partner tbh. Like I don’t get why they are still there.
This seems like a game where the weak people will skate to the finals. The bigger threats seem to be getting eliminated so I'm guessing it's the winning team of the dailies picks the eliminations and they're putting the strong people against each other. The first people out were probably from the purge

You could argue he lost most of those eliminations because of his partner, too. I don't think we can judge him in eliminations considering he hasn't been in one solo. He's a strong competitor in general, though.
I think another aspect of not calling Paulie out is the ramifications within the game; it would be drawing a line against a certain group.

Calling out one of them would make you a target and neither is easy to beat. Its risk reward. You don't or shouldn't call out people just because you dont like them. Be strategic not emotional.

i mean what do the UK people have to lose tho
You don't know the set up--if it is a Ruins type set up there's a lot to lose.
Like you’re fine with calling out Wes, Bananas and Laurel but not Cara?
It depends on the alliances. If Laurel didn't have an alliance, you aren't upsetting anyone except her. And we don't know the format, so it could be that the UK won that one and chose to put in two strong US players against one another.

true true. It just sounds like the winning team gets to pick who goes against who. Idk

Because they don't have numbers...this is a numbers game. That said, Laurel isn't someone I'd target. For all we know, Laurel agreed to go into an elimination when the US won and then got upset by someone. Maybe there's an incentive (like money) for winning eliminations or maybe Laurel knew she didn't have numbers so she was trying to pull a Darrell on The Ruins and dictate when and who she goes against. Wes & John aren't scaring many in eliminations these days--especially John.
But people are calling out Paulie, thats if we are correct with him taking out Bear.Thats why i think its a stretch to say him and Cara are "running the house" because if they were really running the house then they wouldnt be going into eliminations.I still think Kam must be in some posision of power and this is soley based on the fact that Kayleigh is still there and from the sounds of it somehow hasn't faced an elimination yet.
I could see both couples running the US side although I cringe at seeing either/both the entire season...
kinda miss the days when everyone targeted the couples
ugh Frank and Jill were THAT couple and STILL ended up winning >>>>>>
if only any of the couples on this season are as iconic as the Gauntlet 3 King and Queen!
Honestly, there was never a time when "couples" were targetted. Even Frank & Jill weren't because they were a couple. Jillian was sent in by the Veterans twice because she was seen as a threat then Janelle wanted her because she was the smallest girl left. I mean, Dave/Cara, CT/Diem, Brad/Tori, Alton/Irulan, Zach/Jonna...I really can't think of a couple that was other than Chadwick/Holly but that was just Emily Bailey being cutthroat and protecting herself

There's options...pretend it's a Ruins set...say the UK won and sent in Bear....the US stacked their side with Zach, Leroy, Paulie, Cara, Kam & Nany with the intention of throwing in Leroy and Kam but the UK won and Bear decided he wanted Paulie instead of the other two because Paulie's smaller. Kam may just be winning eliminations. We're guessing way too much about stuff since we literally have no idea how people get sent in. We don't even know Paulie went in--wasn't it a guess based on US options?
Also, the logic that the UK guys were going to dominate this seems to have been misguided but tons of time left and, other than Josh, tons of big guys to battle it.

In a general sense getting called out once doesn't necessarily mean a ton overall. And again, we don't know the format of who gets to call whom out. If it's a WOTW tribunal thing, then Bear could have called Paulie out individually.
Kayleigh came in with the most connections and she’s still there. She is putting that good social game to use. You don’t have to be the best competitor to make the final just gotta be the smartest #QueenKayleigh
Surprised to see Joss pop up since Pink made it seem like he was doing well this season but I think he’s probably beatable in stuff not physical or endurance like puzzles or strategy. He does seem to lack focus too like how he lost to Derrick and some points in the final on FR.
More excited to see King Rogan take over the season anyway
Derrick's as tough as anyone in anything involving leverage or wresting. Wes beating him on The Duel is still highly impressive.
he was literally hanging on for dear life as Joss ragdolled him but ok

didnt my original post fault joss for losing focus?
Surprised that Joss is gone but no big loss. More excited for Rogan still being there honestly.
King Lee finally making deals to further his game
Or hes winning eliminations which hes proven he can do many times
Tbh I think he works a helluva lot better without Bananas.

Ashley still there is surprising
Didn’t Josh beat Turbo in a tug-of-War?
