How does Amanda get so much time off as a nurse? Is she only part-time?

Some of my friends who are nurses just call & pick up shifts or let them know what days they’re available for.

Taking off 2-3 months in a year seems a bit extreme though. Im not sure if its different in the US to the UK

Theres a huge nursing shortage in the US... hospitals are just happy to take what they can get
