The casting for XXX wasn't bad. The format is solid. The competitions are good. The pace is the only real problem. Invasion was poor for anyone that cares about competition. The format was a complete disaster.

Pretty much every acknowledges Shane was the star of the Underdogs on Invasion other than Debut because Debut refuses to acknowledge that when true Old Schoolers come back they have an impact on the show. Cory & Nelson had solid storylines...fake relationships...but Shane was unquestionably the star. Hopefully we get to see him again. S31 or whenever it works out.
Where? I've said plenty of times that Shane made an impact on Invasion. That doesn't mean he carried the season or even was the star of it.
Sure the golden era had eliminations every other episode like for the Inferno seasons but those non elimination episodes at least had game drama and missions to fill the time. That's been a big problem for me with the last two seasons is the editing and pacing. Like the last episode when we could have seen Marie going off during nominations like she supposedly did. Or last season when shane and Nicole went at it in the shelter only for them to show Nelson/Toya's pointless beach hook up.

Actually until the champs came, I loved invasions format tbh, having people earn their spots instead of just floating
no the Underdogs part of invasion was great! I loved how in the beginning if you won a challenge or elimination you were safe up until the champs came. That part should come back because it'll force people like you said to actually compete!!
The Shelter was amazing!! A more clever take on the Island format. The Champions twist ruined the season but I'm not sure if they could have done a whole season with the Shelter format without messing it up.
Shane was definitely one of the stars of Invasion. I'd be happy if he ended up on this season
Okay this I can get behind. I can admit he was ONE of the stars of the show. Just not THE star of it. And I wouldn't say he carried the season either. That season was more of a group effort tbh.

the pace is definitely the problem
Not to me he wasn't.

Shane was the absolute star of Invasion. And he's the star of season 31. Know that.

Can I get Prosper, Marlon, Will, and Greg? :)

Why y'all really want Prosper? He's got a much better chance at being prosperous in life at a day job. But he probably got a better chance that Cory.

I need some brothas to cheer for. The ones they've been casting lately too corny.
no to squidward, yes to the rest.
He's a King.

Shane & The Lavender Ladies were the stars and ran Invasion and that's that on that
Yeah. I loved the shelter part of Invasion. I wish they could've cast more newbies and have the entire season play out like it was.

Amanda and Ashley M yes.
Sylvia no.
hence why all but one will probably come back this season
if the casuals don't like it you know it's a good format and of course they were *****ing about it last season
Not really. I can easily see none of them returning for this season.
Sylvia will send home Kailah again.
i mean smash made it kinda clear that she will be
