Maybe Camila realized that Cara is loyal and honest while Jemmye is two-faced and you can never trust what she says behind your back. I read on the spoiler wiki that the first mission had three parts. One team and two individual but not sure how accurate that is though it seems they get their spoilers from here because they credit the spoiler team.
Also I think Simone's braids look good and they were a smarter decision than a weave honestly (easier to wash your hair) too bad she didn't make it far enough for it to be a benefit.
