AGREED! I don't see what's so great about her. Annoying *** personality, annoying *** face, stumpy bod.

Do some research. New franchises/stories don't sell.

Well then why hasn't MTV made the effort of getting more old schoolers on this show then if that's the case?  There hasn't been a whole lot of them since Exes 1. Why haven't they bumped up the prize money? Why haven't they made the living conditions similar to when the old-schoolers were around doing their thing back in the day? Why haven't they done ANYTHING to make it enticing for old-schoolers to return?

Is it because maybe they realize they can't rely on Old-schoolers forever? Especially now that most of them have lives now?

Is it because they realize now that they need Fresh, new, younger people in order for this show to continue?

didnt invasion prove this lol

Has ratings significantly improved? I haven't really checked.

If so, are we entirely sure it's a sole factor of Shane and or Darrel? Can it just be a factor of The Challenge staple CT?

Nostalgia does sell, but in a chanel where majority of audience don't know or are acquainted to the series' "Golden Era", is nostalgia the way to go?

Will Veronica or Rachel really bring a spike of viewership?

Also, don't these numbers use to see who many people tuned in, include live viewings and exclude streaming? I'm not sure, asking for futher clarification.

Not really.

No it isn't. What people don't get is that the people watching now are not the ones who were watching then. This is a whole new generation whom most hardly know any oldies outside of CT. The ratings are because of the underdogs and Champs. Not because of Shane and Darrell alone.

Sorry, The Mean Girls ain't gonna cut it today. No matter how badly people here want them to.

At this point with what they're doing the ratings aren't really all that stellar, so why not bring back like 4-5 true vets per season if they're willing to do it? 4-5 and they can still have Bananas, Camilla, Jenna, Zach, Leroy, etc. and still get their rookies in too. There's room for everyone if they play it right. This is why I mainly feel that AYTO/Stranded on The Challenge was a mistake, not even that I'm against all of them as people. It limits the old school and rookies we can bring in since they stay bringing in a staple of like 16 of the same people out of like 28 every season. So it's more like we get 16 regulars, 4 AYTO, and then only like 8 rookies/vets/randoms.

That's fine. I'm all for this. But what I don't want is a cast full of old-schoolers. I like the old-schoolers and love the older challenges but they had their time. New Generation needs to be the focus here.

For all we know, they've been BEGGING the Old-Schoolers to come back but they're just over the bullshit. KellyAnne said on an IGLive that she's basically done for good now; they begged her for all those years only for her to come back & still get treated terribly. While I would love to see them & some others again I can't can't blame any of them for saying "**** that". MTV/BMP are ungrateful pieces of shit and this show/the castmembers deserve better.

See. That's what I'm talking about. They don't make an effort to make this show better and treat the castmembers right so that they'll want to come back. On Survivor I read that a past player returned to the Heroes vs Villians season only because the show was good to them each time they had been on in the past. They need to start doing that.

And damn @ Kellyanne being done. She'll now have the ****** up honor of never being on a good season of this show lol.

And also I don't get why they begged and pleaded for Kellyanne to come back yet ignore the several castmembers that could've been good for this show smh. If I was them I would've stoped bothering them and if they want to come back at any point have THEM reach out to ME and let me know that they want to return.

Ratings have improved since the champions came in. Its a factor of all the champs tbh.

I think the Old-Schoolers would, in fact increase ratings but production has dug themselves a hole they can't get out of from choosing to focus on the tired *** regulars. Sucks for them; should've known where your bread was buttered Lol

The transition to the new generation was handled horribly IMO. I consider seasons(2) the transition point considering they didn't even brand it as seasons 2. The casting of that on the part of the vets was abysmal aside from Wes, Alton, and Trishelle. The rest of the vets they cast were people I personally didn't care for. That fresh meat team replacing Team Sydney was stupid as well considering Camilla and Big Easy should have never been allowed anywhere near that team. The lack of a Road Rules team also didn't help because the rumored team would have been awesome. The rookies they casted I didn't care for either aside from Nany, Dustin, and Team Cancun (New Orleans to a lesser extent). Now they have jumped into a new transition with the addition of AYTO without ever actually finishing the last one, and it sucks

....And what was the point of you posting this?

Yep. And what are they gonna do when those vets leave? I mean CT does have a kid now and the rest are gonna move on at some point...

OMG YAAAASSSS! And we can all watch when the show gets Cancelled right after that season!

I just think CT's comeback is the main reason behind the increase of ratings. People doesn't **** with Darrell, Shane, etc... like they do with CT.If CT wasn't on Invasion, ratings wouldn't have changed that much.

Given that the name is invasion of Champs, yes, champs did increase the ratings. But I'd like to think that some Champs were bigger reasons why ratings increased.

I just think CT's comeback is the main reason behind the increase of ratings. People doesn't **** with Darrell, Shane, etc... like they do with CT.If CT wasn't on Invasion, ratings wouldn't have changed that much.

I agree. Maybe they'll have bigger fan bases after this season but Shane and Darrell were never really a huge name many people cared about.

Exactly.

I mean people forget that Shane was on the season since day 1 and while the ratings were decent they would've been decent without him.

Did the casuals ask for Kelly Anne, or did the active forum users begged for kelly Anne. Cause fans that go on forums are not casual, they're more invested in the show.

After Invasion, they honestly can go right ahead & start the cancellation process. I'm just glad I got to see Darrell one more time.

Production was who I was talking about; it was common knowledge that they were blowing her phone up until they finally got her back for Seasons; then they did it again until she finally came back for Bloodlines.

Yup ! Casuals like Shane and Darrell but they aren't crazy about them like they do with Jenna and Tony for instance Zzzzzzzzzzz

Next episode is gonna get hella ratings amandageddon pops on the camilinator and she gives laurel stinky a good treat as well after this episode amanda will solidify herself in my top 10

Not sure if this means anything or if this has been mentioned but I believe Nelson is flying out to the LA area. Not sure if it is Challenge related but the timing kinda makes sense.
