The Future Road to Cancellation all I gotta say is thank god DA is not in charge of casting for this show elsewise it wouldve died 4 years ago.
LOL please. If I cast this show it'd be what it's supposed to be and go on for many many more years. Like it or not Cory is one of the people that will be a prominent figure on The Challenge so get used to it.

It's honestly hypocritical that you like a regular that hasn't done much of anything despite having plenty of opportunity. Cory being a regular doesn't bother me because he's irrelevant. He may make a final and perform poorly (see Bloodlines) but he's already proven Shane's infinitely better than him and Shane was average during his prime

It's not hypocritical because he's done alot since he came on the challenges. Did he not have the most mission wins on Bloodlines? Did he not make it to the end and come in 2nd that season alongside Mitch? and he did well on that final just like eveyone else. Sorry he didn't win but oh well. I know you didn't watch Rivals 3 but he had a decent run on that season too up until he lost. And I'll admit he's hasn't been as good this season but it's not like he's been irrelevant. He's been a prominent figure this season regardless of how he's been competitively. Don't sit here and give me this "oh he hasn't done much" bullshit because you're only saying that because you don't like him and he doesn't meen your standards. Sorry he's not the next elite layer but oh well. Not the end of the damn world. Not to mention outside of the competition he's been involved in drama and hooked up. He's had a good, not great run so far and I think he can get better. Will he? Maybe or maybe not. Either way has has merit and he'll be fine.
He's relevant. He always was and he will continue to be. Don't sit here and discredit him because he's not CT.

He was underwhelming IMO on Bloodlines. I heard that he lost to the weakest team on Rivals 3--yes? Or at least the weakest guy? Some kind of awful performance. We've learned he can't do puzzles. This is his third season and he still hasn't figured out the politics of the game. I don't dislike him but he's can't be "the future of the challenge"...he can be a part of it. I don't mind them casting him. It's not like they're casting Bruno who is completely useless IMO. I would actually like to see him on a team challenge to see if he can figure out the game in that environment. He's just not a great athlete, he's not very intelligent and he's unable or unwilling to play politics. Hopefully he learns...otherwise he's a weaker Leroy. I don't need anyone to be CT or Darrell in terms of competition but when you make the insane comment that you don't want Shane back after he took a decade off and brought everything (competition, politics & drama) to this season then you lose credibility. I'd take both back next season. We just better not see people like Bruno & Tony.
I would not want you casting because you limit casts. Period.
By the way, if I was to cast Duel III I'd have Cory on it because he's one of the few newer kids that could possibly hold their own. Even you'll acknowledge--if this season saw the eliminations as champs vs. underdogs it's highly unlikely any of the underdogs make the final 3...which speaks volumes about the new kids.

I didn't think he was underwheming on Bloodlines at all. I mean he wasn't elite but he held his own and did well enough I felt like. As far as Rivals 3 the team he lost to wasn't that bad. I'd personally say they were decent but the guy was small though(but it wasn't really an elimination where sized played a big factor). But yeah...that's what I mean when I say he'll be the furture..he'll be apart of it. Maybe not THE FACE of the show like say Backpack(Belch) or CT but he'll definetly be a regular and will be someone who's apart of the the show in some way. I will agree with you that he needs to brushen up on politics and get better at the game though.
Look. I like Shane. He's had one hell of a comeback this season but despite that he's not someone that I'm clamoring to see back. If he comes back then fine but if not. Oh well. And how exactly do I limit casting? I've said before that I have no problem with Old-Schoolers returning and I wouldn't want them cast out of this show, There are several old schoolers that I would love to see back..people like Brad/Derrick/Abram..but I just feel like the newer, younger people need to be the MAIN focus, and on top of that there are several old schoolers that I would like to see back before Shane. Not to mention there are several people from the more recent RW seasons that I think should get on. There's nothing wrong with that.
Yeah. You're right. It would've been another Ruins situation. But it doesn't make the new kids weak though...they're just not as good as the champions. I mean they're champions for a reason.
Even if I don't like him, at least Cory does stuff and gets into drama and hook-ups, but people like Jenna on the other hand? Aside from being a doormat and winning carnival games, she's useless. As much as I don't like him I get why he has become a regular.

No regular in the history of the show made less sense than Jenna.

Casey/Ryan(Fresh Meat 1)/Eric(Fresh Meat 1)/Evan/KennyYou might not agree with the last two but I honestly never understood how they became regulars.
I'm not a fan of Kenny or Evan but they definitely had a fan base. Casey sucked but she was memorable IMO. Ryan and Eric okay...though, again, I don't consider them regulars as they weren't ever intended to be the focus. Unlike Jenna. Regulars to me are people that show is set up to be centered around. Though, by definition you're correct.
Like him or not, Cory is relevant. He ALWAYS make people talk. In 3 seasons, he always played a BIG part each of those. HE was responsible for Bananas' eviction on Bloodlines. HE won several challenges, was on two alliances in the same time (trying to play both Wes & Backpack in the end) and was involved in some drama on Rivals and HE was the leader of the other alliance and was involved in hookups/drama/fights on Invasion.
Cory is still a GREAT ADDITION to this show, even though he "flopped" this season (he didn't flop that much in fact), but the format didn't help either.
I did troll these days about him, but I'm fully with Debut when it comes to Cory. He did disappoint me this season, but I give credit when it's due and he's far from being "irrelevant"...

When I say he's irrelevant it means that I don't believe he can ever win a final due to his stupidity and knee
Oh and you're actually right on that. I always stated that Cory will probably make to the final on every season he will be on, but will never win not only because of his knee, but because he lacks endurance, patience and as you said he's pretty stupid. I can see someone like Devin or Amanda from AYTO winning before him.
So much WRONGNESS in some of these posts. Geez where do I begin...
For those who constantly say he needs to "brush up on his politics" how so? Bloodlines he lead a Rookie Alliance and made it to a final, came in 2nd place (with his bad knee that you guys never fail to remind us about). Rivals 3 he played both Wes and Bananas side (same shit Sarah did on BOTE2) and would've floated by if Nicole didn't find out and blurt it to Dario. This season he's most likely making it to the final again and made it without switching alliances and had a way stronger alliance the whole show. His alliance with Dario, Tony, Nicole, Jenna >>>> the entire Shane alliance.
And again, enough about his damn knee... His knee never gave out on him at all the entire show. You nimrods act like he's Wes in the rivals final. Its ridiculous how some people here will try to portray a reality that doesn't exist. If you don't like him, just say you don't like him. No need to be Petty and come up with false bs to discredit the guy. He's been putting in work. You act like we're talking about Theo or someone who's actually pathetic
I don't think Cory is a flop or sucks at these challenges. Let's remember it took Johnny 4 tries to finally win. And he had to align himself with Kenny to do so. Cory just needs to play smart I agree. Which is easier said than done and who he aligns himself with. And this is coming from someone who doesn't like Cory on Invasion.
