She absolutely is bitter about both of her experiences and I like her a lot for that. She's a well-rounded competitor that expects the games to be fair and well-run. All you can ask for, especially after committing so much of your time/life to this.
They rigged it for Ben hands down. With idols planted by his feet to the sudden fire making when he was going to be voted out. I despise that man ever since. Thank god they now cast 50 percent bipoc at least bc the measures they took to favor and or rig it for the mediocre white man was crazy.

If I had to guess, Danny probably took offense to Tyson saying that Danny wanted to quit mid-final when he rolled his ankle. Danny might've said something along the lines at the time but obviously would have always played through it. So for that alone, Danny discredited all of Tyson's legitimate complaints about the rest of the final, which also discredited Desi's legitimate complaints about the final. Which leaves them both feeling bitter, particularly Desi, who was absolutely screwed over.

She even said something along the lines of she thinks Danny was getting rewarded for mentioning Kiki so much (I assume she means he was rewarded for giving the producers an easy job generating a positive narrative for him as a family man). I thought the Kiki thing was mostly harmless and Desi's reaction stinks of being pissed about shit Danny said later than actually disliking the silly Kiki thing.

Tbh- I haven't watched but I remember I read when I did spoilers and during the airing of it how much of a mess that final was for the cast. They can be pissed about production and exposed them, but being pissed at the winner is weird to me.
