From what I've been told this isn't the ruins. Everyone on the speculated cast thinks it's a pair challenge again. Champion with a non champion the way they took the rivals 3 idea from Vevmo. Looks like they are repeating course and stealing witty's deadweight theme.

Two of the ones you just mentioned got calls and I know one of them accepted don't know about the second one with a call. They are digging in pretty deep this casting process. I was told my a champion that will be on this season that Theo ( RR ) got a call but he declined.

Not true. Last Ruins had Chet, Adam, Nick, Danny, Cohutta, Dunbar, Brad on the guys side, all are below average- average at best besides Brad. If they did the Ruins with the guys side having Bruno, Tony, Dario, Cory, and other strong Challenger guys, they would be good. The problem is when they start throwing people like Nate and Thomas on there, they make the teams really lop-sided. The Challenger girls would already be pretty stacked with Averey, Nia (maybe), KellyAnne, Jenna, etc.

If they did the Ruins with the guys side having Bruno, Tony, Dario, Cory, and other strong Challenger guys, they would be good. The problem is when they start throwing people like Nate and Thomas on there, they make the teams really lop-sided. The Challenger girls would already be pretty stacked with Averey, Nia (maybe), KellyAnne, Jenna, etc.
If these speculated male champoins make their return and you already have Bananas and Zach, you have Laurel and Cara Maria for the girls, you can pluck off anyone else from the champions side and they'd still beat any final team of the challengers. So again, same result. Pairs is sadly the safest way to go.

But Zach and Bananas both have their weaknesses, Zach has yet to show if he's good at finals, and it's not impossible they wouldn't make it, especially if the Champion girls (Laurel and CM) turn on Bananas. We haven't seen Tony or Bruno in a final or elimination for that matter, but they have a lot of potential. I also don't think it's impossible that Marie, Nia, Averey, or KellyAnne can take out Cara Maria, maybe even Laurel in the right elimination.
Anyway still too little Champions on the male side so far. Departure dates can't get here soon enough
