Also there are others that have family and friends liking stuff on social media plus since they have phones on the Real World this season maybe they have some sort of access to their phones or he's just really good at hiding it from production? Also I think it's weird Sam hasn't tweeted since departure day, she's a pretty regular tweeter. I'll be highly annoyed if she is wasting a spot but it seems likely to me that she is which means we would need another dude.

My theory is Derrick and Sam were cast like Dylan and Emilee as alternates. 2 champs and 2 non champs. Dylan and Emilee went to LA. Derrick and Sam were either flown to LA but never flew to Thailand as a backup in case someone dropped OR they were flown out and flew right back.

They never were, but looks like this season they did things different, since they have never made alternates travel to the location before. I am assumming they got pay something (Dylan/Emilee) for going to Thailand.

If they havent return to their job its a totally different thing, a lot of them dont return until filming is done if not ask Avery she went home 4 days in during rivals 3 and took the 6 weeks off that she had on her work noticed.
I'm just curious, the spoiler thread has a screenshot of someone on Twitter saying they met two cast member at the airport so those two were listed a eliminated.
Maybe I'm looking way to far into it but I guess it's totally impossible for someone to say that when in reality they actually didn't meet those poeple in the airport.
