I have been thinking of an idea as to what could possibly be going on. Maybe because the theme involves Champions, production set it up to get the most "deserving" challengers as the ones who get to compete against/with the group of champs. Flying the challengers out first, holding a challenge or two (if they did) and an elimination or two to weed out a guy and girl or two of each to get the group of challengers ready. I can definitely see them doing this and TJ explaining it as the biggest and baddest competitors who know how to win, and they wanted to make sure the challengers could hang. So the ones who make it through the first couple challengers and eliminations get the privilege to play with the champions.I didn't like this whole idea of champions going in late, but if this was the setup, I would actually like it. It'd cause drama in the first couple days/week because the challengers would be scrambling to stay. The introduction of the champions would be an epic episode, and then the game completely changes when it becomes champions vs. challengers or a mixture. As long as it's only one or two eliminations and then the rest of the cast joins in, I would be ok with this.
I agree somewhat, but I have a feeling that they're gonna pair Challengers with Champions once they get there.Even so, I just don't think it's fair to have to go through 5/6 rounds of missions and eliminations, and then a ton of new people (and Champions at that) come in with a free ride through half the Challenge. I'm not trying to ***** and moan, I'm actually happy with the idea of seeing new faces for the first 5/6 episodes without the same regulars there, it just messes the game up imo.
Maybe they get rid of enough challengers to cut it down to 16 then the 8 champions come in and they do 4 teams of 6. With 2 champions (guy/girl) as captains and they pick based on how the challengers perfromed in the first 2 rounds.
Then they could do challenges where the 4 teams break up into 2 big teams. Then, the two teams who win are safe and the other two have to vote someone from their own team in like in Cutthroat.

I don't think it'll be 5/6 episodes, I honestly think it'll only be 2/3. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

I'm so confused about all this. So let me get this straight, it was specualted that the theme will be a Champions vs Challengers vs Rookies format but from what I just read a few pages ago the Champions haven't been flown out yet. On top of that, filming has already started.
King Darrell will hopefully be on the confirmed list soon and hopefully on his way to Thailand or wherever they're at. I would hate for Derrick and Darrell's comeback to be limited because of this stupid twist they could be doing.

I don't understand why they all didn't go out together. We didn't really need a bloodlines format change but cool
I am not even mad anymore atleast it will give a couple episode free of bananas, Cara Maria and Camila lol
New faces will shine, some people have formed alliances and bonds by now. The champions joining them it will shake the house and create even more drama/back stabbing.
So let's say they've had 2 eliminations by now, There's probably 14 total cast members, 7 guys and 7 girls. By now there'd be 12 people which means there's probably 12 champions coming in
I would be a little salty if I was competing for two weeks and in came champs all fresh, rested and ready to compete. I could see someone with an ego like Bruno go mad and quit.
Makes me think they will definitely be paired up with a Champ to keep it fair. I'd hate to see a favorite like Derrick or Darrell get sent home because they were paired with a weak player.
