Big Brother and Julie Chen posted a crossword puzzle on instagram that asks us to find the premiere dates for BB24 and The Challenge USA. Two dates were July 6th and August 3rd. I'm guessing August 3rd is premiere date for The Challenge USA. Either that or they'll premiere the same night.
The MTV version is pretty much "PG" in most countries

with a 90 minute episode.
The Challenge USA follows with a 90 minute premiere as well.
The challenge USA will be on at Wednesdays at 9pm EST following that week.

They're just using recency bias along with the more popular shows, I'm sure Survivor/Big Brother bring in most of their viewers.
