The Challenge: Battle For A New Champion- The Big Mistake

Episode: 6

Head on down to your local bingo hall because we’re playing BINGO - Challenge Style. Contenders get down and dirty, and tensions mount as they wrestle for power. Another Champ enters, hoping to end one Contender’s dream and steal some money.

omg ??? not Nurys jumping Melissa…

Late but I'm here

I hate dailies where two teams gang up on one.

Jay hush. dont make me call Rogan.

now they're jumping Big T...oh lord.

I doubt most of the casuals know who Kaz is

this cast is so dumb for a variety of reasons. they're targeting players they think are "weak" by sending them into elimnations where the grand prize money is on the line if they lose against champs. make it make sense Lol

Exactly.

Berna and Zara made more sense to target, and the other girls let them win to throw votes on Melissa and Big T.

Rather want to lose a weak player who they could beat than keeping money is crazy .___.

Like this season isn't bad, these episodes just drag.

I'll probably skip next week live because I'm not that invested. I just wanted to see Big T win tonight.

Also, imagine Melissa went in and called out Nurys? The format switch is hurting this season.

I think thats why I've been preferring the spinoffs, they dont drag.  These episodes are too long and we are only a 1/3 through this season.

didn't josh say they didn't let him speak in spanish on the show? i'm suprised they let that show

lol, not even more than 1 page.

mid episode also fan fave olivia was used to promote this season down but all she does is explain the game/speak on relationships. she's not giving at all

Was this episode any good?

Was this episode any good?

It was ok.

Melissa v Nurys was the big drama of the episode. Not bad to watch, but again, I think the 90 minutes make everything drag, and they're not utilizing it right.

Dude this format is rough. We're gonna watch the same people get thrown in over and over again like Brandon Nelson on Cutthroat or Jay on Total Madness.

The cast actually isn't that bad. The format is gonna kill this season. It's so boring and lazy.

this is such a bad excuse. Survivor has 90 minutes episodes and the season is fantastic despite just an ok cast.

If 90 minute episodes are dragging that's because it's a bad show. period.

A good product can still look choppy if editing is off.

It's been a common theme in the past few seasons a ton of stuff gets left on the cutting room floor despite it being enough time to show it. (Liv v. Amber & Mechie ; Nurys v Ravyn , Colleen's letter).

These episodes feel like one-hour with an extra 30 minutes, so I question if the time is being utilized right. They didn't even show why Jessica went in , which was dumb, considering it led to Chauncey going in the next episode. Nurys and Berna argued the same night Berna did with Melissa. And Hughie had drama that wasn't shown. An hour-long edit forces them to be a little more concise, and imo would add some urgency to the season. And I don't expect the stuff cut to be shown with even less of a runtime, but it does make me question why they leave stuff out that would make the 90 minutes feel eventful.

That's my issue with the runtime; I do think this season is objectively "fine" thus far, but I can see it getting dry with the mercenaries. Most of the drama in the trailer seems to end with the next episode.

This season of Survivor isn't fantastic at all. It's just had a few great moments. None of these shows need to be 90 minutes or can carry 90 minute episodes. They all wanted to do away with drama but then extend their episodes. Makes zero sense. Also, the fact that they all air on the same night is ridiculous.

This season of Survivor would be AWFUL without 90 minute episodes, instead we've gotten nice character development. It's better than the last 3-4 seasons easily

A show like All Stars could easily have done 90 minute episodes because they have contestants we want to watch. This show has none of that, I don't care Nurys is arguing with someone.
