I think if you don't care how popular they are then you're just igonoring the reason why they get cast every time and they still give BMP / MTV ratings and I think to most of the fans their storyline is not tiring, because they never had the same storyline in any of their season they did together, it was a constent ride with it's ups and downs.

I do agree with you..I do think that the old-schoolers time has passed and The Challenge is pretty much irrelevant as far as Reality TV now..this shows heyday is over but that doesn't mean it still can't keep trucking along and produce a good show..That's all I want at least. I think the main problem BMP / MTV has with this is though, if you (37-years-old married with 3 kids) go to compete and go to a house where you want to stay out of the drama as much as possible as you want to enjor your time there, than they're more youngier people (maybe in the pool if you were someone from RW / RR) that will get into hook-ups, drunking arguments or fights and that in this key lately in the recent reality tv field that BMP / MTV is going where it's all about drama, hook-ups, fights, arguments, stripclubs as I feel it.
Plus, if you watch this show with your family and friends together, people will question your motives why you went on going into that "Rated-r" looking show and they might be ashamed of your participation on that show.
It was definitely full of shit, i'm sure a lot of his answers were.
1. Drama naturally exists when competition exists. I'd be there to win. There would be drama and likely drunken arguments because, if you haven't noticed, I voice my opinions--as do most people that have appeared on these shows over the years.
2. Very few of these people have real hook-ups that get camera time. Most of the hook-ups are either off-camera or staged.
3. Motives? THe motive is to win some ,oney and to compete. Anyone that knows me wouldn't question my motivies or be ashamed. Honestly, that's just nonsense. If anyone's family/friends would questions them they need new friends and to consider disowning their family.

Poor kids if they find out where you get / got your money ... Not that you can say : "Kids, I was young and needed the money..."
Unfortunatly, they don't care what the millions think.
