Jenna wanted to quit and even told Jay that she was close to giving up when Leroy/Theresa passed them. She couldn't even run in the beginning of the final and when Jay struggled in that drinking stage, Jenna did not motivate him at all. There was no way in hell Jenna would've finished that final even if Jay didn't quit. She got lucky that he took all the blame.
