You're right it is different. Posting GIFs doesn't effect the thread but when someone decides to start a rant once again about how much the hate the new Vevmo it get's the thread locked.
I'm sorry, but I'm just gonna say it.. This thread is damn near unbearable with the pathetic, overused nicknames and the never ending line of GIFs. I swear, most of you just think you want to join the "cool kids" and add a GIF ago try and be funny but 90% are recycled and not funny at all. It amazes me at how much this forum has downgraded and the maturity level has dropped immensely. Go ahead, try and be funny by responding with a GIF.. It's expected and predictable.
75% of the posts here are unrelated to the challenge, talking about Nia and Jay and a bunch of other BS. I can't blame the people who have left this site because the senseless posts and GIF wars are so tiring. If these threads looked like this while Molds was still around and Bacchus was here on a regular basis, I can guarantee you that the majority of the people in here would have been sent on numerous vacations for not listening by now. I used to come here a lot more often, but I honestly think that the site has been taken over by overly-obssessed 13 year olds after all of the mature people finally couldn't take it anymore. The last time this happened I took it out on the mods for not doing their jobs, now I can clearly see they weren't the problem.

Well. They would be sending people on vacations. However, temporary bans are no longer a thing. It's a full, and permanent, IP ban.
If you have a problem with a post, or poster, PM a mod. The new system doesn't allow for flagging, so it makes mod work much more difficult. Not to mention there is a glitch that prevents mods from backtracking through posts. So clean up is difficult on its own, let alone the added bonus of posts like this that add just as little to the discussion as a gif or blatantly obvious trolling.
In about 100 more posts there's going to be some lazy poster asking if the final happened, who made the final, who was eliminated and so on... when there's a seperate thread that would inform you on what you missed and what is actualy confirmed.
