There aren't many women on the planet in general 6 ft. & up, let alone in the U.S. & in college. How would she be in the lower spectrum of female athlete height when she's in the higher spectrum just in general? I'm telling yall, Nia has a secret sister on MTV Trés that people keep getting her confused with...
It seems like all the Bloodlines options dwindled down to same sex pairs ,I wonder if there still going to try and make this a team challenge.
1.) It is a team challenge. Think Gauntlet or Ruins style(one player from each team going into elimination) rather than Inferno style(two players from same team.)
2.) They are favoring but not requiring same sex pairs. They just have to make sure that for every guy with a female bloodline, they have a woman with a male bloodline. So the genders are even between teams. But yes, they are going with mostly same sex pairs.
3.) The reason for #'s one and two above is because production desperately wants scenarios where two family members have to face off in an elimination. That is most likely with a Gauntlet/Ruins format and same sex pairs.

Is this speculation? I hope you're correct because I've been dying for a big team challenge for a while.
Also I think you might be confusing Gauntlet eliminations with Inferno eliminations.

It's what someone I believe would know has told me.
I thought Gauntlet had players from opposing teams facing off in elimination and Inferno has two teammates? Maybe I'm wrong though, it's been a while.

Gauntlets were teammates facing off (I.e. Derrick vs. Timmy) and Infernos were opposing teams facing each other (i.e. Jenn vs. Colie).
I, too, am hoping for a team challenge. It's been too long and I would love to see the dynamic that a team challenge brings out.
Team challenges are average veteran competitors dream come true. All they have to do is show up, not be the worst, make the final, win the challenge. And then end there challenge careers on a good note.
Isn't that right Cara Maria? Oh wait youre still waiting on a win........ Second place three times is good though........

Cara-Maria has only been on 1 team challenge....and has always been cast with at least one better female or pair in the mix.
Gauntlet 1 was battling the opposing team in the elimination; Gauntlet 2 & 3 were battling someone from your own team.
Huh, interesting. Gauntlet 1 was before I started watching The Challenge. My first one was Gauntlet 2. I wonder why they changed the format if they kept the same name.

Gauntlet 1 was simply vote in anyone on your team, no limitations or anything. So naturally the girls got sent in almost all the time.
I'm really sorry to say this, but if you crop out Nia and her bloodlines hair and body just leaving both of their faces, they look like men. They both have a very promiment jaw line. Especially the bloodline. She's going to be sent home within the first 3 eliminations in my opinion after her previous showings, because I agree with many others on here, she is overall a weak competitor.
I didn't know Nia graduated from college. Now I remember her having a journalism degree, I believe, or something along those lines. Not that I'm surprised that she has a degree, but I remember a big discussion on here and amongst the cast about many castmembers not having degrees and for some reason, knowing Nia did well for herself is very comforting.
Also, I'm not a huge Nia pusher or a "#niaslay" or whatever the hardcore fans say, I am a fan and I enjoy seeing her, but I'd be very shocked if she gets eliminated before the halfway point of this challenge. I don't see her as a weak competitor at all and I really think she'll kick *** in every elimination she is in. Free Agents was her first challenge and I'm not using that as an excuse, a loss is a loss, but even the best competitors have lost eliminations.
I really think she will do well on this challenge and I'm mostly excited to see her because she's the one castmember who will not allow any shit to be done to her Bloodline. I see her, and Marie as well if she makes the cast, being the ones who are all about the money, but want their bloodlines to do well too.
Als, what's with people making fun or picking apart other people's appearances? Sure, I've been guilty of it, but over time you have to realize that people can't control what they were born with. If they altered their appearance with surgeries or makeup, etc., that's one thing. But everyone was born with good qualities and ones that are perceived negatively but we didn't get to pick and choose most things. Sure, they can be changed but some people are happy with what they were given. Just my two cents.
Sorry for another post but I was just re-reading Nia's Portland bio and she claimed (back then) that both of her sisters were "goodie two shoes" and the complete opposite of it. Also mentioned was how she and her sister are often mistaken for identical twins.
Thought it was interested how Nia's sisters were mentioned back then and now they are a huge topic of discussion.

I have a feeling Nia's volleyball scholarship to Howard is a lot like Evan's hockey scholarship to Cornell.

Happy for a team challenge, but bummed there wasting it on this theme tbh.
:(. I'm still holding on hope Dustin/Josh , McKenzie/Katie and Naomi/Yelitza all got final calls.
Jonna could've won her first challenge smh...I think a lot of people are about to get their first win though.
Jenna took her place.

poor sarah, i wonder if shovel face will be the new scapegoat because of her looks and no I am not talking about Nia before i get chewed out
All you have to do is google and you'll see that she was on the damn Howard Volleyball team. You'll find an image and a few stats.
Enough already.
Exactly! The Queen doesn't have to lie.

I think you need to google what "barley/no makeup" means.....
I think the man you're referring to is Nany.
I have heard it all on this site...Nany doesnt look like a man , Nia doesn't either.
i say they have masculine/harder facial features not exactly man lookin. But i do think nany is prettier than them, but johanna beats all them
I'm not saying I agree with them but that's YOUR opinion
So far the speculate female cast is a good looking set of girls in my opinion.
