Jay will say anything for attention. Compared to like The Inferno it's boring but compared to the regular version it's a billion times better. I mainly blame the editing and Viacoms hatred for drama and entertainment.

I do think the boot order is tragic, the quarantine killed some potentially interesting dynamics. The problem with the first two seasons is that the dramatic personalities left first. Still think a lot is lost in the edit. And the episodes don't need to be 90 minutes but since it's a streaming service with no constraints 55-60 minutes would be nice.
Ayanna has carried the season. Casey delivered but she got screwed by the make-centric edit and the quarantine. Darrell and Teck are bringing good commentary and an alliance battle. Derrick and Nehemiah delivered too much. It was a package we didn't want. Jodi is boring but she's brought female competition, too much actually lol. Katie had a small tift with Steve, she always delivers to me even when boring she's just funny. For only 3 episodes she provided enough. Kendal was boring but if the quarantine didn't happen I think her and Casey would have had an interesting storyline. Latterian has been entertaining and competitively interesting. Leah provided a little bit in her two episodes, rumor has it that she provided more but they edited it out. Melinda isn't a huge personality but her gaming and being involved with the Kings Palace has been ok. Jonna is playing a great strategic game. Tina is the confessional queen. Even Sophia had herself a moment. So yes, the old schoolers are providing 100x more than 98% of the spy era cast ever could.
LMAO. Would have been the first all POC team to win in years (Darrell and Aviv?). Janelle for whatever reason just isn't getting screenttime but we saw with the Melinda scene she is amazing and playing a great game, and everyone loves Darrell. Look at the reddit threads, one of the the all time favorite challengers besides CT.
I'm fine with Jonna/MJ winning, I just would have preferred the other winners obviously.
i stopped watching it a while ago. i think the novelty of seeing the old faces wore off. they're not doing anything spectacular, it's the same feeling just older faces and on Paramount + for me

I disagree completely. It's way more fun, light, and enjoyable than the regular show. It has just as much drama and strategy (if not more) expect it's (more) authentic. There's not the cheesy spy stuff, and the cast has charisma and actual relationships. For me it's a whole different show than the MTV one. I'm sure there is some nostalgic bias there though.
They should have just aired allstars 2 after spies lies and allies i bet no one would have notice as they both are the same amount of garbage. But trust all stars 3 will be the one who delivers and saves the actual franchise.

i like that it's dark. i also loved s1 and how everyone got along so well. it's all about casting. no one cares if corey from 12 days of christmas or logan from survivor romania does anything, I do care if Yes or Darrell wins or loses.

who's talking about darrell? people watch this show for different reasons, i like the likable legends and competitors on these shows.
the main thing i remember with kailah is ******* in the bed after cory hookup. her being totally checked out after TM soured me on her a lot. MY opinion since i know this is like kailahs #1 fansite

I think a lot of what makes me enjoy season 2 is beacuse of the color scheme, jersey colors and location too, I miss the Mexico vibes with light colors when we've had cold locations so often recently, that's another reason that makes it so great too.
The thing about this show is they need to learn to do something different every time and that's what's lacking in the main show, look at DA and SLA transition, it was the same *** with no mixing up the cast from past few seasons, same spies theme, and droopy jersey colors. The reason I did enjoy it tho was because they were in a warm location for a change.
That's what they need to do every season, it needs to be new color schemes, themes, rotating cast members from several seasons, suprise cast members, a good interesting format and good dynamic storylines and not "friends" who are helping eachother get to the final the entire season.
