Idk how many times I have write this there is NO CBS challenge. That "spinoff" is having the same casting formula as a regular season with ppl all over the world.

you can tell they rely on just the basic framework of The Challenge to sell this franchise, i.e., vets + a challenge followed by elimination. I guess they figured as long as they have that formula, they don't need to put too much effort into anything else 

Filming is longer because just like the champs vs stars spinoff last season proves that producing this show in 2.5-3.5 weeks is a mess for them

i hope they learned from season 37... cs whew
