For sure. They easily could have used a few different cast members to do it or even just hire Devyn and Miz to do it. That seems like something the Miz would do and it could be their way of getting him back in some capacity.

Episode One should be like reintroducing us to the people we haven't seen. Show less of the people from season one and focus a lot of the new people
