PR makes a point about Svetlana if people see her as a "beast." She was an underdog "Cinderella" story because her entire cast there had been eliminated back to back. Viewers like the underdog and this is one who made it to the finals and we didn't see her again. The Beth/CT eliminations were tricky because of the rules. She was decent and a good swimmer in a season with many swimming/water challenges and most of all, Wes chose to align himself with her and he was arguably at his physical prime then, wasn't he?
I did enjoy seeing her beat Kina in that tricky elimination. I think Kina got kind of a big head after kicking *** as captain on Gauntlet 2 and it was a big blow to her ego to lose because she thought she had it in the bag against this rookie. Her losing reaction seemed like a fake cop-out. Yeah, Svetlana was overdramatic when she thought she lost to Beth, but at least it looked real. I just hope Svetlana can mentally handle the environment and stress of a Challenge today.

One other thing to mention about the Jodi and Veronica elimination is prior to it, she was being bullied by most of Veronica's team for daring to have something to do with Queen Veronica getting voted in. I remember Dan in particular cornering Jodi and being mean. They were trying to get into her head and it worked. To top it off, the elimination was some weird spinning one. And like Rachel said "you're a dancer, you can do this!" to Veronica, so V was able to easily win while Jodi was sooo flustered it was embarrassing. That was Jodi's one elimination. She also got flustered at puzzles on Duel.
I will give this credit to Jodi, I saw her coming up with strategies for the Rookies on Gauntlet 2 that were instrumental to their team winning.
