and taking it a step further... even the redemption house kind of ate and provided great drama.. they just should have made it to where the loser of the redemption elim just goes home instead of getting to stay.
final reckoning voting format (M/F pairs) with Dirty 30 redemption format + no mercenary additons = my dream format
I don't mind stars or skulls as a way to get to a final. Then you won't have fans complaining about cast members going to a final who were never in elimination. The only thing that bothers me is when an stars/karma advantages given to you by another player can significantly impact the final outcome. Still not as stupid as production wiping out everything someone did on Day 1 for it to come all down to a puzzle or race like how Zach got screwed on vendettas.

Idk if it's an unpopular opinion or not, but I like redemption houses.
Maybe fessy & amber won a star on the first day OR they won a daily and threw themselves into elimination against Sylvia/ashley and that's now the drama started hmmm *sips tea*

i think it can be a good additions as long as it doesnt last until end game and stop around midway through
The reason why people are so against people never going into elimination is because the challenge fanbase are like music stans ****. There is a difference between being a fan and a stan and the Challenge Fanbase are very childish like that. Nobody should have to prove themselves by going in eliminations. The whole point is to make it to the finals and win the prize in the end. Newsflash you can can always lose an elimination because it may not be based on your strenghts despite being great at the challenge. The challenge elimination wins is great for fun Stats but that shit don't matter to me when you have all those wins but never won a final. I'm not a fan of the winner from Battle of the New Champion but I don't discredit his win because he didn't get sent in for elimination
tbh.. without the redemption house and mercenaries being added late into the game, final reckoning format is my absolute favorite. i wish they can do something like that again
Cosigned. The challenge peaked back in their pairs seasons, went on a massive decline in casting and formating until they bounced back with Invasion and then dropped the ball to give us two top tier seasons back to back in FR + WOTW. I'd say WOTW2 is great but I have to finish it first to see how I feel about it overall. After WOTW2, the show took another nosedive and IMO has not bounced back; if anything it continues to decline season by season.

I agree. I blame challengers for letting people walk to a final without ever seeing an elimination. If Jordan, Jay S, Emmanuel make it the entire game without ever going into an elimination that's on the cast, not production or the game rules. But the bit ching online from fans gets so annoying.

While daily wins + elimination wins are great to discuss so we can have some kind of measure of players abilities to survive in the game, if you win then those stats have little to no measure there. A final win > 48383 daily or elimination wins.
Also I despise Ethan or w/e that guy that won The Peasants season but he won fair & square, the cast had chances to get rid of him. The cast was not playing smart IMO.
ther casting lately has been like 30% of the people waning to win badly, then 70% being pushovers who just want the appearence check or clout. we'll probably never get another challenger like evelyn who goes against the entire house unapolegetically who also isn't a flop

I honestly think this is one of the main problems nowadays. A lot of these people DON'T want to win. They show up to the Challenge for an appearance check and to increase their social media following to be influencers.

Evelyn also yielded on the Islands final to win with the JEK.

Most of these people know they have zero shot so they don't care. It's not like the good ole days when a Katie could show up, party, chain smoke, and still win. There's 1 to 2 winners and you likely have to be an ultra vet, production favorite, or hulk like. Production changes the rules and rigs the game to benefit their favs/vets. Why try with such little chance. The issue is that people are rewarded for being boring. The Kasey's keep getting called back for providing nothing but if you yell they fine you and threaten to boot you. People used to turn it up for callbacks now they turn it completely off for callbacks.

nothings wrong with having 2 woman winners and 2 male winners per season. making solo champion challenges is idioic . having 30+ people on a season and telling them that only one person is gonna win? no wonder why a lot of these people barely try

She's the most unproblematic person in the world. She legit probably worked out her entire time and didn't say 2 words the entire time she was there. She probably won't be shown much until her elimination episode. She'll also probably give the confessional explaining the rules of the game.

The point of the game is to stay out of eliminations and make a final. Forcing people to go there is stupid.
potentially only two episodes where I dont have to hear about someone doing it for their kid ugh
well some people can be given stars like Veronica
If they did the redemption house like they did on Exes 2 it could actually work
Nobody wants to see low quality mtv.com nonsense

Lol bye homophobic basic blond girl. Nobody likes you

Did Ashley K get into any drama?
agreed tbh

Like sure the money would be less but who cares lol
They need to do a RoD part 2 with same *** pairs. 1 girl pair & 1 guy pair sharing a $800,000 prize pot
