For the women, I still think this season most likely comes down to a Laurel or Cara win. They're exiting their primes but they still have the experience in spades.
Averey's the wildcard, who can pull off the upset. Nicole's a moron who can't do a puzzle and Veronica and Flora are nice stories but let's be serious.
For the men, Adam's been the obvious darkhorse the entire time. Survivor has always taught me to not underestimate the mid-40's dads. Derek could be smart enough and athletic enough to contend. I don't think Ace has enough smarts, Jay probably still loses at the food portion, and Ryan's like a 2nd boot that is somehow still here.
Adam hasn't done a show in about 15 years since being a first boot. Jay is redemption for how he finished the prior challenge. Not liking them is fine but don't pretend there isn't a story. Whether you care about the story is irrelevant--same reason people don't comprehend the Tori-Jordan current storyline. The show isn't being made for you
KVM shut your old *** tf up i do not care, i think it's lame and can have that opinion. This isn't a debate.
Having opinions you can't support is "lame".
Nobody other than you wanted to watch 10 people get purged, KVM. The fact that you think an Island style culling would be well-received is laughably silly.

That's not even what happened on The Island--only Dunbar didn't get to compete
I last remember Ryan cost Theresa a spot in the final in a elimination that's a type of mini final. But maybe he improved since then
To be fair--they got Weight For Me...he would have done better on Lost & Found probably. Ryan wasn't strong enough for Weight For Me. Noor was barely strong enough for it.
I still think its going to be 4 & 4 with a surprise star at the end. Guys: Adam/Jay/Derek/Ace Girls: CM/Laurel/Veronica/Flora
So you want them to ruin and disregard the great format this season?
We've been over this. Its a good idea in theory but its crap storytelling which is what production should focus on. To have the people without stars expecting to go home, and then to actually have that confirmed and have to walk away is dull a episode any way you cut it. An extra star is a surprise that makes sense. I think it would be enjoyable too if the star holders get to compete for it as well so they can choose who joins them in the final if they. Like imagine if Laurel has a star and wins another only to choose to give it to Veronica/Flora over Nicole. A lot of fun could happen then, and its satisfying to the narrative.
It's beyond awful. It's like a participation throphy.
I mean, its hardly a participation trophy if they have to win it. And it will be better than the island if the star holders get to participate and can't have their stars stolen. Also, if you were a castmember wouldn't you think that a six person final is waaaay too small, considering the last 3 have 8, 8 and 12? They're half expecting something like this to happen, we're still in the twist era of the challenge afterall. This wouldn't pull the rug out from anybody. It would more be an OMG moment for the viewers
I just know Leroy and Kam thought they were gonna run things like DA and have control the whole time and to see them both flop *giggles* it's so nice to see people get humbled
Queen Flora seems fit omg! What if she's an underrated Yes type and runs/hikes for fun?
Flora being the solo winner would be so iconic!
If that could happen I could walk away from these shows happy. She's my all time favorite cast member from any reality tv series. Flora coming out of nowhere to win would be the most epic thing to ever happen.
I do think Derek is a dark horse. He's apparently a really good swimmer. He just does bad in one to one matchups (especially when it comes to weight).
The one I am definitely shocked about is Ace. I thought he would have followed Tyrie out the door. I always felt Ace problem, was that he never seemed to really wanted to win or had the fire to win a challenge.

No, it wouldn't be an OMG moment. It would be another Skull moment where we learn it was pointless.
This is a season meant to be for Redemption and the way the season is headed, everybody has been on that right direction if not already accomplished said goal
Ace, Adam and Derek were the first male boots of their very last appearance
Flora hasn't been on the show in 21 years and has something to prove
Veronica was medically disqualified when she had the political game to coast to the finals in AS3 and performed poorly in Ride or Dies
Laurel went home early her last two appearances with three of her enemies (Cara, Kam & Nicole) all in the house
Jay quit the final of Exes 2 and needs to prove he can compete to discredit his quit perceiving him as a weak competitor
Cara's last two appearances have been her possible best seasons politically and competitively but lost both of them in semi-embarassing fashions (i.e. she was edited to look bad in both)
Ryan was eliminated in Episode 2 in All Stars 2 after one near last place finish and one last place finish
Nicole was medically disqualified in Double Agents early in the game with the person who "took" her out the game (Kam) and her exe (Laurel) being in the game
Averey was removed from the game in Rivals 3 early on due to her partner being injured and still hasn't had the chance to show she is a good competitor
Cara's last two appearances have been her possible best seasons politically and competitively but lost both of them in semi-embarassing fashions (i.e. she was edited to look bad in both)
I agree with all but this--they'll need another storyline for Cara other than her behavior created a bad edit.

Ig the storyline for her before coming into the season is getting second solo gender-less win + redeeming herself after two dominating seasons. And with how this season went, she gets betrayed by Kam (who she worked with in WOTW2 despite Kam being gung-ho on her during Vendettas) whilst having all of her other enemies (Laurel & Nicole) actively gunning for her; Kam leaving could raise an edit of "My #1 vendetta in this game is finally out, and now I have the chance to take out two more"
So it'll start as Working around her enemies and getting her star > Being betrayed by her only female ally > Surviving the game without any true allies > Getting her star stolen immediately after she earned hers > Vengeance on Kam & Leroy > Kam & Leroy leaving the game and bettering her game
I don't mind if any of the remaining players won (except Nicole ig) but if someone like Ace or Ryan won, I'd be on the floor hysterically wheezing instead of being shocked, amazed and happy
He was one of the contestants that usually got most "hate" and had most people against a few years ago. Everyone called him boring and the talk was how he always did nothing and was there just as a number for Bananas and how he was a follower.
I don't know if its that people hate everyone else more now, or that he's with Kam and you stan him for that, but I find the 180 people did on him weird.
I last remember Ryan cost Theresa a spot in the final in a elimination that's a type of mini final. But maybe he improved since then
if ace or adam dont win...
The twinks are taking over
This is the LGBT+ renaissance of The Challenge. Let's go gays and lesbians LETS GO!!!!

OMFG is either Jay or Adam's, unexpected.
Theresa's karma is HEAVY
No, it wouldn't be an OMG moment. It would be another Skull moment where we learn it was pointless.
I'm crying at Leroy leaving that's hilarious
"If's? I'm not doing if's no more. If if if if grandma had balls she would be grandpa"

I hope nobody gets unnecessarily injured or hurt in this final.......i hate all those injuries
finals arent interesting enough tv to warrant people getting injured on them
