y'all should direct your anger at production for making the main show 900 years long and making it inconvenient for stars like Kam to film that. why wouldn't she say yes to this, where she's prob getting the same appearance check and less filming time

If Josh is on then I'm done with the show. And the reason it's more frustrating is the original update was RR/RW/FM which is what many wanted to show to stay. I would have been okay with AYTO around S6 but when Genesis is an alternate (yes, I know her and Kam aren't in consideration for the same spot) there's going to be angry people.
For the record I never complained about newer real worlders like Jonna, Sylvia, Kailah etc be cast. I was fine with it if they were RW/RR/FM of any era cuz I knew it would be difficult and unrealistic to compose a purely OG cast.
I can tolerate (with some reluctance) the inclusion of certain ayto heffas but I will lose my shit if they ever cast big brother or survivor people. I know y'all love CBS shows but imo CBS casting has been a cancer to the challenge. The flagship is so lame with the people they cast, and the awkward editing doesn't help.
If this a season where last goes in and the winner picks the opponent I won't be as mad because there's lots of strong women that will finish last (Nicole any time there's something requiring thought) giving us big matchups.

I get that, and if I thought Kam was a special exception b/c she's married to a Real Worlder I wouldn't panic but this is a test. This season there is one AYTO alumni, next season there could very well be two or three. And the people that will be bumped are the obscure people us OGs likely would want to see the most, like poor Genesis

No. That' how it slowly started on the main show. A few AYTO - then bam, most of the cast is full of randoms most people have never heard of. The main show shouldn't film as long either, they would get more people on it. I understand you love the new kids a lot and want them on here, but that wasn't the intent for this show - even according to the producers - so having them pop in on here and taking spots away from others we haven't seen in forever feels like a slap in the face to the old school fans, and really has to feel c .r.a. p.p.y to someone like Genesis who they ignored, then called back after they had backlash just to make her an alternate then cast someone who premiered in the last 9 years of the show take a spot. The cast is very good for the most - the addition of an outside show is just slippery slope you know they'll go down because they did it before.

I've never believe Mark - he has absolutely no control over casting or the show. He opened their eyes to the idea, then they just took it. He was just the 'face' for casting - but at the end of the day he holds no power whatsoever. lol
They should make the main show 6 weeks as well ppl would be more open to do it...
6 weeks and 10 episodes is good enough
They can easily still make the 20 episode seasons they like if its 6 weeks If they just speed things up. Theres probably a lot of downtown between eliminations/challenges where the contestants are just hanging out. So they should shorten it so we can get more of a rotation between the same stale casts.
the show is meant for ppl who we haven't seen in a while... not recent ppl. now more " og's " are going to not want to do it in fears on being alt's for new kids
