Derrick is friends with everyone though and there's only so much he'll be able to protect. I don't think Ryan's gonna be typically high on the totem pole, especially if say MJ came in last and asked for him.

How do you know Ryan is close to Derrick? Just curious. I've never seen any big indication of that on the shows. And on his podcast, Derrick acts like he's cool with a lot of people. lol. It doesn't mean on a Challenge where he likes to play safe and stay out of elimination that he won't be one of the votes to throw a weak guy like Ryan in. Even with Cutthroat, he and Katie had been super close for years and she said he didn't protect her. So I'm not putting much stock in Derrick.

It depends on the format. In a less tragic format Trishelle does way better. Ace never stood a chance.
