Nurys: Per Paulie, came in basically checked out. Coming last in the daily sealed her fate.
Brandon: Kinda wanted to be there, but didn't try very hard.
Amanda: Came for the check and to cause chaos for a few episodes. When it was potentially a redemption house, she clearly was not remotely interested.
Tony: Very obviously wanted to go home.
Jodi: Actually wanted to be there, tried hard.
Paulie: Clout chaser that was desperate to be there.
I think amanda didn't want a redemption house cause she knew there would be a really small chance of her returning, and she'd rather just be with her son instead of waiting around for weeks only to probably end up going home anyways.
A lot of people not trying their hardest doesn't surprise me due to the whole kitchen and bathroom situation. If you knew you had a pretty low chance of making the final, then why would you want to wait months in those conditions just to lose?

i believe leroy tried in the elimination but got a reality check in regards to how much of his physical strength he lost.
