Yeah anyone with a real job can get "weeks" off and most can take a leave. So not true

then you're with a ****** company. i'm taking 3 weeks off later this year with no issues. i've earned my vacation time so i can use it how i please. the sabbatacle is just a conversation with upper management *shrug*

3 weeks is different then 3 months

hurr durr water is wet. KVM specifically quoted “weeks” so i explained for 3 weeks. the remaining 2 months would be a sabbatacle. but this is a pointless argument.

Giggles.

I heard Nick lost his job.

to be fair most people lose their jobs in BB because it’s so like they quit before or get “terminated” for not showing up since a lot don’t quit in case they don’t even make it on the show.

Where did you pull this fact from...

they have said on feeds/interviews. No normal job allows you to take off a week. But they sequester some alternates so nothing is “offical” till you move in. One season they pulled a original and put in an alternate 2 days before move in.

Girl where you working that you’re not allowed a week off⚰️ 3 weeks to a month sure, but a week?

I meant weeks. Donny from BB16 was someone who was "fired" I believe. He worked for a school so if he went home early it wouldn't be an issue but they had to Fire him for "no Showing" since he was in jury and couldn't get back to work till October.

The only likable people in the house are David and Kat at this point lol

Nicole is right there?

Confused--I'm agreeing with you.   "So not true" was about people not being able to take a "week" off.  I'll take the blame though I should have been more clear.

Most full time jobs have either a stock system or a yearly system. Personally I have the stock so I could easily take off 4 weeks right now, but that's acquired after hundreds of hours and it maxes out at a certain point and I can't earn more.

Is she likeable?  David's the only one I find likeable.  Nick didn't bother me until I read the recent comments he made but I may have missed stuff prior.

Yeah, I would say that is standard...and then people can often get "unpaid" leaves but that may depend on the job/industry.

Can y’all please tell me where you work that your allowed to take off 17 weeks and still have a job? I clearly need a new job.

Most companies allow people to take a leave of absense for any reason.  It's unpaid but allowed.   They won't allow it yearly or anything but I've never heard of a company, other than industries (such as service) with high turnover, that didn't allow a LOA.

I'm shocked you didn;t people could take "a week" off

oop everyone getting the shitty edit they deserve

First episode I've watched in a while...Bella and Nick are going to feel very stupid when they watch this episode.  Nicole tried to save them and they threw it away.   Guessing this is a new edit because Jack and co definitely aren't getting a favorable edit IMO.

Tommy is so ******* FAKE

Tommy is so ******* FAKE

Fake might get him far

oh absolutely, he’s my pick to win but i hate him talking to the DR as if he’s following the mob mentality so he doesn’t become a target when a lot of times he’s the one initiating all the shit talking.

No disagreement--just good gameplay Smile

Is this Christie girl always a mess?

Sorry my first episode lol

I still haven’t heard. How do the fill your position. Legit I do not know 1 person who could do this and I know teachers, medical people, factory workers, legit every industry. And if you took 3 months off for no good reason your position would be no more

yah she had a meltdown during her HoH week because of Jack and she’s kind of just messy in general

For someone who claims to not watch episodes you sure are very active on both BB threads and in the know with what is going on.

First off teachers are off all summer. Again office jobs would grant it. We had a paralegal take 2 months to go to Isreal with her aging parents 3 years ago. Accommodations were made.  Most businesses can operate down people. Overstaffing is SOP to prepare for vacations and leaves. What factory job wouldn't accommodate that?

How do you think companies survive maternity leaves? If I wanted to do Survivor or Big Brother I wouldn't be allowed because I'd be representing my firm but we'd absolutely allow any non attorney in our practice the time if they came to us up front and said they were pursuing this.  They would be made aware how easily they could lose their job and they'd be required to exhaust all their paid time off and then take it unpaid. We allow employees bank 250 hours of time off which is almost 6 weeks. We provide 160 hours a year.  It's not that difficult.

The issue wouldn't be the time off but representing the company which is why people get fired.

Jokers sums things up and you complain constantly. i had no clue about 80% of what we saw tonight.

Were you happier with the edits or still going to *****?

They edited out Jackson’s violent comments. Only Bella looked super bad tonight and kinda Sis but Nicole was weak and did an awful job defending herself. They still need to just bring back David AND Kemi tomorrow OR cancel it.

i get teachers have summers off but big brother goes till end of September like the 25th so you miss at least a month of school. Maternity leave is shorter then big brother. That person visiting there aging parents is different then going on a game show. And what factory job allows that? If your 5 min late to a factory job your get wrote up. Those jobs are hard to get because some pay so well. At least in my state, meaning you would need to leave your job. 2 years ago Elena who was a radio person needed to quit her job for big brother and that’s radio

Every place is different but maternity is typically 12 weeks (6 weeks for medical/6 weeks for bonding) then you can take any additional vacation time you want.  Most women in my office are out about 12-15 weeks.

If you're working a factory job that is going to write you up for being 5 minutes late you need to find a new job immediately.   If they tried to fire you for that they'd get destroyed in any unemployment hearing.  What factory jobs pay well?   What kind of factory are we talking about here?  Maybe we have a different definitely of "pay so well"

If Elena was an "on-air personality" then she would be breaking her contract by going on the show.  Radio has "contracts"--it's not a typical job.  They definitely can't get that kind of time off.

A couple of former BB contestants were interviewd for Oprah Magazine and spoke about how the show caters to white males and likes to villanize the minorities and called out the recent season.

Season 20 winner was a biracial, gay woman.  Season 19 winner was a latino male.  Am I surprised that type of content gets put in a magazine?  No.  Does it hold actual water, no.

1) Asians are considered “acceptable” by most white people. 2) Production did everything in their power for Paul to win BB19. 3) If you have watched 21 seasons of BB and still deny that Grodner and crew is racist...well then you are highly unobservant or racist yourself.

So apparently Jackson was part of a frat that had rape allegations to add to his 14 charges of domestic violence... Seems about white

Lol this is so much more racist of a statement than what you are accusing people of.
