Episode 1 Ratings are in & I am shock lol I saw commercials of this during new episodes of Bachelor in paradise (I though this was going to help ratings a big way) & ESPN. I though it was going to do wayyy wayy better since it was trending on Twitter & it had good promotion this past 2 weeks on other big channels:
******** to this cast. Bria really ******* wilding after knowing this dude for like 4 hours. Half these guys gross me out with their commentary like no shit you're single if your opening line is "show me your titties". If anyone wants to help a sista out with the spoilers, my PMs are open :)
also, isn't this the same house as season 5? Seeing Bria in the closet gave me instant flashbacks to Gianna kissing Mike? Can't remember who but i could have sworn the closets were identical
All due to no promotion until the past week or two; sorry promotion at that. Same old story with MTV.
Floribama 2 also got 2 weeks of promotion and werent airing commercials on NBC got better ratings on the premiere than this.
Floribama didn't even released an actual trailer with the good drama until the first episode finished airing.
They literally had multiple commercials for this airing on a major channel while a big show (Bachelor in Paradise) with a similar concept/demographic that pulls 4.5 millions of viewers was airing new episodes .
All due to no promotion until the past week or two; sorry promotion at that. Same old story with MTV.

In my opinion lack of promotion isn’t to blame as much as the terrible casting. People know what to expect and are simply no longer interested in the show anymore. I turned the channel to watch a bit of it and they seemed like they were reading off scripts. I did assume MTV would be smart enough and air this after one of their shows that does better like The Challenge.
So that Nutsa and Jasmine fight had something to do with money. And Asia said that Jasmine and Maria also potentially got into it this week too? AND Jasmine is the one with the problematic twitter hmmm
finally watched the premiere. Some early first impressions:
Bria - girl, lewis is right. You too cute to be this crazy and Zac ain't worth it. He cute, but not worth it.Zac - I predict he's going to be the next AYTO'er to hook up with Carolina. Called it 8/17/2018.Asia - I like her but she's too rational for this show.Tevin - whenever he talks, i want him to clear his throat.Maria - She is GORGEOUS and her body is amazing!Morgan - who are her friends? How they let her go on TV with hair looking like that? She needs new friends.Daniel - ew

Overall terrible but did well on the demographic they care about to an extend. This was their lowest rated show this week other than fear factor.

The show has gotten stale. It's essentially the same storylines with rotating names. Looks like Kenya/Jasmine will be the Didi/Nurys of this season.
