RW/RR Challenge Awards: The Pre-Show - 2015

Serves as the official pre-show for the RW/RR Challenge Awards.

Hi, I'm J.T. Navil, official red carpet reporter for the first-ever VEVMO "RW/RR Challenge Awards". For all you people that voted for the month-long categories, well, the wait is finally over. "The Challenge Awards" is literally minutes away. Tonight's show is hosted by Evan Adams, aka EASmadaNave, and let me tell ya, a great night is in store for you all. The show's so big, we're gonna give a few of them right here on The Pre-Show before the big show even begins. What the award looks like is a rectangular clear crystal award with "The RW/RR Challenge Awards" etched into it. The awards we're gonna give out right now are for "Pack Up And Leave", "Most Innovative Season", "Elimination Master" and "Best 'Challenge' Haircut".

Let's start off with "Pack Up And Leave". There were many dramatic non-elimination-obligated exits from cast members, The nominees are: Trishelle on "The Challenge: Rivals II", Beth on "RW/RR: Inferno II", Coral & Evan on "RW/RR: FreshMeat", Jo on "RW/RR: Gauntlet 2", Puck on "RW/RR: Battle Of The Sexes 1" and Coral, again, on "RW/RR: Gauntlet III". I just wanna point out that this is one of only two categories that ended in a tie, and a tiebreaker had to decide who won. The winner of "Pack Up And Leave" is Puck from "RW/RR: Battle Of The Sexes 1". Congratulations goes out to Puck.

Next one's for "Most Innovative Season". The nominees are: RW/RR: FreshMeat, RW/RR: The Duel, The Challenge: Cutthroat, The Challenge: Rivals, The Challenge: Battle Of The Exes, The Challenge: Battle Of The Seasons II and The Challenge: Free Agents. And the winner of "Most innovative Season" is "The Challenge: Rivals".

The next award is "Elimination Master". You voters showed so much love. Only two nominees recieved the votes while the month-long voting was open. It was between Sarah G. on "RW/RR: The Gauntlet" with 5 won Gauntlets and Derrick on "RW/RR: Gauntlet 2" with 4 won Gauntlets. They both killed it. And the winner of "Elimination Master" is Sarah G. from "RW/RR: The Gauntlet". Way to go, Sarah! Congratulations!

The final pre-show award is for "Best 'Challenge' Haircut". The nominees are: Puck's mullet on "RW/RR: Battle Of The Sexes 1", Abram's ****** mohawk on "RW/RR: The Inferno", Landon's "skull-it!" haircut from "RW/RR: Inferno II", Zach from "RW: Key West"`s Buzz Cut 'Fro mohawk before his eventual buzz-shaved head on "RW/RR: Gauntlet III", CT's "shag-to-swag" haircut transformation before the final challenge on "RW/RR: Gauntlet III" and Dan's military style "V" mohawk on "The Challenge: Cutthroat". And you VEVMO voters voted and the winner of "Best 'Challenge' Haircut" is Landon's "skull-it" haircut from "RW/RR: Inferno II"! Congrats to Landon; you can grow and wear your hair any way you like anytime, man!

Now, this main show's gonna be insane. We've got 20 awards to be given, where we'll reveal the winners you voted for over and over again. Ten classic Challenge cast members will be inducted into "The Challenge Awards"` version of Hall Of Fame, "Challenge Gods". Also, our host Evan will give his respects to Deim and Knight in their very own "In Memorium" segments.

While I got the chance, I want to tell you I hosted a show pilot myself. It's called "Drawn Together Jr.: Cross-Country Adventure", where we put the best cartoon characters to the test, through the types of challenges that the cast of "The Challenge" go through. It's gonna be crazy. I brought a sneek peek of the episode. Roll it.

Brock Samson: The hell is this? A blue van? A ******' tour bus? The **** did I get into?

Samson (VO): My show brought in a little bit mature content to Cartoon Network's [adult swim] block, yet that's where I feel comfortable being. By being on this show, I'm putting myself completely out of my comfort zone... and if anybody has the crass of cojones to cross me, they're gonna wish they didn't.

(footsteps)

Samson: All right, HANDS UP!      I'm your new roomie.

Eva Wei (VO): When we first saw Brock, I'm not gonna lie, we were shocked.

Bugs Bunny (VO): When I saw him, I thought we were being "PUNK'D".

Samson: So... is this the "Drawn To--

Starfire: YES! WELCOME!

Samson: -...gether" bus?

Samson (VO): To be honest, I was a little skeptical, but I'm glas my roommates are welcoming me with open arms.

Starfire: So what do you wish to accomplish while you are here?

Samson: Well, think of me like a security guard, but one you can get to know on a more personal level. I hope to break up any drama in the house, and other than that, I look forward to enjoying my time here.

Samson (VO): Right away, I knew Starfire was one of the good ones. I feel like no matter what happens, I know that she can be one of those people I can trust.

So, "Drawn Together Jr.: Cross Country Adventure"`s Preview Special will premiere on VEVMO on Thursday, February 19th, and the pilot and only episode will premiere on Friday, February 27th in seven parts, spanning the next seven weeks. It has the capacity to be slightly re-worked to include more current popular cartoon characters. Mark your calendars and get ready to see (well, read) some of the most classic cartoon characters battle for the biggest cash prize in cartoon-reality-TV-show history.

Okay, we're just mere seconds away from the big night you've all been waiting for: the first-ever "RW/RR Challenge Awards", celebrating and honoring the last twelve years in MTV's longest-running reality competition show. For The Pre-Show, I've been J.T. Navil and enjoy the show. EA, it's all you, man! Take it away!

EDITED LINK TO "THE MAIN SHOW": COMING SOON.

Thanks EAS. This should be fun Smile

Thanks. I tried to incorperate the basic minimum of what award show pre-shows have, most notably the VMAs of the past 7 years, where there's pre-show awards given out, somebody promotes a new project (or, in my case, an old project that's new for the rest of the world) and then the sign-ins and sign-outs of the typical "MTV News"-type hosts of the pre-show. Glad you like it.

I have just started to work on the transcript for "THE MAIN SHOW" and I haven't even gotten past the second category of writing it out on paper from the Word document. I'm looking back on all the footage I have of the seasons I have on VHS and writing the most memorable moments from those.. moments. I have not finished the transcript for "Most Enertaining Mission" yet. This is going to be a TON of work, but luckily, I'm dense enough to want to see this through, no matter how much it takes out of me. Sad to say that "THE MAIN SHOW" won't be made for another couple weeks.

On another note, what do you think about "Drawn Together Jr."? The basic premise of it is basically "What Drawn Together did with the stigmas of being trapped in a house like 'The Real World', Drawn Together Jr. takes ACTUAL cartoons, sticks 'em in a van, and makes them do crazy but pointless challenges like 'Road Rules' does... but with a little bit of old-school 'RW/RR Challenge' thrown in for reference."

I think it's fun and entertaining and I am in awe of the effort you are putting into it. More people need to do what makes them happy and others need to celebrate it with them!
