Disclaimer: I'm only 6 episodes into Season 3. Pleeeease don't post any spoilers. Gotta say---I'm going really slow through Season 3....it's not that good! It just seems like "more of the same" kind of...its becoming a show I watch when I'm doing 1 or 2 other things sadly. Is it only me that feels this way about 3?? Does it get any better? I'm kinda bummed that I'm not into it more...
Stop now. Save hours of your life. Many hours. This was the cult show that I watched for years and it was huge, but don't venture on beyond season three as it becomes diluted to the point it is not worth watching - unless you love what you have seen thus far and are addicted.
REALLY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I thought maybe it was just in a slump until something bigger and better happened. You're really not a fan!? I like what I've seen so far....but I don't "love" it. I'd say for every like...10 episodes, I love 3 of them. Lotta leg work to do to find the goodies though!
You're really not a fan!?
That is the case. I watched it from bookend to bookend, but was never a huge fan. It was the Lost of its day and I was so pissed about the inconclusiveness throughout. Great series and I am sure you will find enjoyment all the way through. I'll just warn that you should not expect your mind to be blow after days of straight viewing... There are no answers.
Yeah...I kinda got the hint that there would be no answers (hence, "I Want To Believe" coming out..). Considering my present attitudes towards Lost, I'll probably end up being extremely pessimistic about this show too lol I'll get through it all. Eventually. (totally distracted by Six Feet Under anyways!)
B, have you watched the movies? I still haven't seen the second one yet. I watched the whole series religiously, the end of it was a bittersweet thing. It just wasn't the same anymore.
B, have you watched the movies? I still haven't seen the second one yet.
I suspect this shows where I stand in my disappointment: I have not seen either movie. I have a renewed interest in Duchovny since I watched Californication. I might give the latest one a shot, even though it was critically panned.
Californicationnnnnnnnn! God, I need to buy it. I'm obsessed with it.
I just watched the episode "Home" from Season 4. I feel like I'm going to vomit.
Season 5...Disc 4! Moving along steadily... (if anyone cares lol)
I don't understand why Mulder and Scully both think its a government conspiracy now. I'm watching Patient X and Mulder is just pissed off that he had his head up his *** for 5 years. When will we get some sort of proof that aliens do exist! And ****it, I hate Krycek!
So I'm on Season 6, Disc 3 - Cassandra Spender just came back... I don't understand the difference between Cassandra and Scully. So Cassandra is "the one" - the first hybrid or whatever - but why did Scully return much sooner? She had the chip in her head and all...testing must've been done, but yeah...none of this fully makes sense. I think I'm starting to fade out on this show a bit..
