Wolverine X Men Origins
I am a huge fan of the X Men movies, well X Men period. So when the first movie came out it was alright, 2 was much better, 3 ha hated it! Don't get me wrong I love all the characters and the new ones they are introducing, but Professor X and Cyclops dieing, along with Rogue taking away her mutant powers. Did not follow any storyline I have seen or read from X Men comics or cartoons! So Now enter Wolverine, this is set before he ever became an X men and tells the story of how he became wolverine. The trailer looks great and I can't wait to see Gambit! Hopefully this one stays a little more true to the comics. Here is the trailer :D YouTube - X-Men Origins: Wolverine HD trailer I can't wait for this movie to come out!
Here is the trailer :D I can't wait for this movie to come out!
Thanks Phoenix!!! I can't wait either, Gambit, the Blob, and Deadpool!!! I am excited to see who this deadpool fella is and the fact that he is played by Ryan Renolds makes it all the better.

I love X-men too...I barely saw the end of the third one recently while flipping channels, I was really pissed off to see Professor X die...and then I asked my husband why Cyclops wasn't the one trying to talk the Phoenix down...and he told me he was dead. boo. Then I see that Rouge didn't have her powers anymore...but maybe she would eventually get them back because the ending showed that Magneto still had a small amount of power left.

At least the first 2 movies followed the X men storyline a little, 3 strayed so far away from the truth of X men, I hated it! Killing off Cyclops, Jean Grey and Professor X was the stupidest move they could have made. Then Rogue choosing to take "the cure" was so disappointing. In the comics Rogue is a real ******, in the movies she is a frightened little girl. They did however leave it open for them to get their powers back showing Magneto moving a metal chess piece. I hope that there is a 4th installment to the series, just to make it the way it really was. Also if you watch X men 3 all the way through the credits at the end it shows professor X had been transfered into the body of the brain dead man, so I guess they are saying he is not really dead. Now with Wolverine coming out I am excited to see his story before the X men and how he became Wolverine. X men 2 touched on this story line a little with C. Stryker, and now we will know his past, I am looking forward to that. I just hope they do the rest of the characters justice as well and that they stick a little closer to the true story as told in the comics.

It was every studio chief's worst nightmare. "The version that went out is unfinished. It's about 10 minutes shorter, doesn't have key scenes, it wasn't edited, and none of the effects shots were in any remotely final form," Rothman tells EW. "It's a complete misrepresentation of the film and is deeply unfair to the people who have worked on it for years." Rothman says Fox and the FBI are zeroing in on the culprits and he feels confident that they'll be able to name the perpetrators soon. Although early reports named Rising Sun Pictures, an Australian special effects house that worked on the movie, as a possible suspect due to a watermark with their logo that appeared on parts of the bootlegged copy, Rising Sun contacted EW this evening and denied any wrongdoing. "We worked on individual sections of the film and Rising Sun Pictures or its staff members have never been in possession of a complete version," said Rising Sun chairman Tony Clark in a statement. "It's common practice for work in progress between us and the production to carry vendor watermarks and for these to be integrated into various edits of the film for screenings, which would explain why our name appears." Regardless, the experience will change the way the studio does business with special effects houses and post production facilities in the future. "We, like everybody, thought our system was secure," Rothman says. "Just like I'm sure there are lots of banks that get robbed that thought their vault was safe. We thought the post-production pipeline was secure at every juncture. But, obviously, it's self-evident that it wasn't. I have a high level of confidence we'll find out where the lapse in security was and we'll bring the perpetrators to justice." While it's impossible to tabulate the actual amount of financial damage caused by a high-profile act of creative theft such as this one, Rothman hopes that it will be somewhat contained since the conventional wisdom is that the people who download movies also tend to be the alpha-fans who pay to see the same film multiple times in theaters. "The picture is not the kind of movie people get the whole experience of by watching on their computer. But other than The Hulk, I don't think a movie with this kind of anticipation has been stolen. And it's also a big deal because of how early it is." Meaning, there's a whole month before the movie is in theaters, and that gives fans a long time to get their fill of X-Men and move on. But the filmmakers are determined not to let that happen. Rothman is touting a bunch of footage shot in Canada earlier this year that he says is not even included in the version online. And he insists that both he and Hugh Jackman have vowed to stop at nothing to get the movie out to as many fans as possible. "Hugh was heartbroken and hurt when he found out. He's lived with this thing for 10 years. But he's also a man and knows that life isn't fair, and is more determined than ever," Rothman says. "Hugh and I exchanged e-mails: Basically, we're not going to let the ******** win. But we didn't use the word '********.' That's a slightly sanitized version." Yeah, I know someone who watched it...they said it was really good even if it wasn't the final cut, BUT you could see stunt strings and stuff in a few places...but other than that all the graphics were perfect. I want to see it really bad now...Also I hear there is some Hugh Jackman booty in there, LOL.

Not gonna hate on the third movie either but I don't think that X-men on the big screen should end with that. So I am glad they made a movie exploring his past which is an amazing story.
Here is another trailer! YouTube - X-Men Origins: Wolverine Trailer I didn't know that Cyclopse was going to be in this one! I was mad when they killed him in X-Men 3... Which was a horrible movie IMO. I can't wait!!!
X3 really just went in the wrong direction for alot of people lol This movie seems set to right all those wrongs and more...I am seriously looking forward to seeing this. Thanks for the postage Phoenix!
I hope so! I know there is another X Men origins movie coming out , but it is about Magneto.
Cyclops, Gambit....and a few more! Let me also say once again I love Ryan Reynolds.
I hope so! I know there is another X Men origins movie coming out , but it is about Magneto.
Yeah there's a X-Men Origins Magneto, then theres an origins about the other X-Men and then there's a sequel to Wolverine.
X MEN 3 = :suicide2: Wolverine =:clapping:
Haha Exactly I will just forget it ever existed and just enjoy this kickass movie coming up. Even better that there will be sequels coming out of this and it should make everything right with the X-men world
Cyclops, Gambit....and a few more! Let me also say once again I love Ryan Reynolds.
 *swoon*
Is anybody going to watch it tomorrow? I am planning on it! :D
i was! but i spent 80 dollars on data pilot today.
Is anybody going to watch it tomorrow? I am planning on it! :D
Definitely gonna try to go see it...you pumped Phoenix??
Just got home from a midnight screening and... wow! So many X-verse cameos, it was fun seeing the characters on the screen! The story is great, and actually fits in really well with the established continuity of the X-Men movies... Oh, and be sure to stay until the end of the credits! It's not as big of a scene as the one from Iron Man, but it's definitely worth seeing. My only real gripe with the movie, and admittedly, this is a small/picky one, but Emma Frost has been completely retconned to fit within the context of the movie, almost as if they were sitting around like, "Hmm... how can we make her fit into this?" Then again, Emma Frost is one of my all time favorite characters in X-Men, so I'll be the first to admit that I have a soft spot for the character. I wasn't looking as forward to Wolverine as I was to the previous X-Men movies, but after seeing it, I personally think it was better than X-Men 3. Can't wait to hear what other people think after seeing it this weekend! :)
Definitely gonna try to go see it...you pumped Phoenix??
I was pumped GW... But I sadly didn't get to see it. :( However, I am definitely going to see it today. :D
So I'm watched the movie online today and it sucks!
So I'm watched the movie online today and it sucks!
That's why it sucks, go watch the real thing and then comment on it.
