The comics offer no insight into where they're going with the plot but any chance to throw together an Away Team including Michonne & Darryl is exciting. Poor Bob feels like a red shirt on this trip.

So...the Season 5 premier was fantastic. Action! Gore! And feels! So many feels! Reunions. Carol & Daryl? I'm starting to tear up... Tyrese & Sasha? Ok, this is a moment... Rick and Judith? OMG ALL OF THE MOM TEARS. Yes yes yes. Ya done good, Walking Dead, ya done real good.
I agree that it was a great premiere and I'm totally sucked back in. It was quite the visceral episode.
I'm excited that they decided to not make a season out of Terminus and instead will have the crew back on the move.
Loved the premiere!!!! I think it was great and I too am very happy they are not staying in Terminus! Don't think I could have stuck around for a season of that!
I personally love the character growth of both Glenn and Carol.......They have really transformed and I think that is great! Thank you Walking Dead for not sticking with the stereotypical weird Asian guy!! #effsocietalnorms #effdominantdiscourses
The first scene at Terminus was something I couldn't believe I was seeing on my TV and then what happened in the last scene of this episode. Like you said, damn. As someone who's new to the show (bought and binge-watched Seasons 1-4) and hasn't read the comics, I'm almost afraid of what's to come.

its a really good show. Season 3 almost killed it for me but I gave it one more chance and season 4 redeemed itself and season 5 is awesome so far. I highly recommend a watch.

I avoided the show during its initial airings starting in 2010 (or 2011) because I had heard it was a zombie show and frankly, I was zombied out at that point and was never a zombie fan anyway. But when they had a marathon over the summer, I decided to just watch the 1st episode to see if it explained how the whole zombie apocalypse got started. Much to my surprise, I got completely invested in the characters (the ones who are alive) and decided to watch just 1 more episode... well, so much for my self-control!!
According to this interview with Andrew Lincoln (Rick), we're in for quite a ride this season. I don't know whether to be excited or scared... or both!!
Jesus. They're really going to run this franchise into the ground. I have a feeling AMC will have a rough time thriving in a post-TWD world. I hope Preacher delivers though, I'm quite intrigued by, and excited for, that series.
I honestly think he is dead. That many walkers, plus the fact he looked in pain and the "guts" being ripped out of him seemed to cause that look of pain, I totally see him dead.
