I will be throwing a party the day that happens. :D
Same! And they really need to give him a better dye job. His hair is horrible and so fake looking. I think Bill can afford to get so highlights and lowlights.
Fab that real estate agent was also on vampire diaries :D. I think with some of the things that happened between last year's cliffhangers and Sookie's return, their going to try to keep us in suspense. Like where's the queen?, when did Marnie come to town, how did Maxine find Tommy and stuff like that. As for Tara, I feel she has no purpose in the show anymore. With a show like True Blood that keeps getting more series regulars(like Nan Flanagan, Marnie and Portia Bellefleur), I think it'll be good to off some of the older ones like Tara.
I am just happy that Tara has yet to be raped, assaulted or enslaved. I think it's a new record! They can kill off Bill for all I care if it means more Eric, Pam, Jessica and LaFayette. And just an fyi for all us Alcide fans, he's not coming around until episode 3. So we will have to wait another episode to behold those abs again.
They'll probably never kill Bill as they probably always have something for him to be a part of. It seems like his role this season doesn't look so promising thus far. As for Alcide,
I heard there might be a Alcide and Sookie kiss soon. Soocide!
Anyone seen the second episode yet? It's available on HBOGO and HBO on-demand. Will check that out tomorrow!
My thoughts on the premiere: It was good, but not great. I didn't like that we missed what's happened in the last year, hopefully there's a flashback episode that shows the missing plot's. (Jason and hot shot/cop status, Andy using V, Tara/Toni storyline, Lafayette's last vision, Bill vs. Sophie Ann, Sam vs. Tommy, and Maxine vs. Jessica) Dislikes: The Arlene story line. As much as I love Terry, I can't stand Arlene. It's like, last time I checked Rene was just a human, I'd be more intrigued is if he were an evil magical creature that passed down something supernatural to the baby. As is, that kid isn't a threat until he's at least 15/16 maybe. I just can't come up with a valid reason resolution to this subplot. Sam. Stop being angry, you're getting more and more unlikable for me... Jason and the hot shot plot. Just annoying, I saw that freezer scene coming from a mile away. Like others have said, I'm getting a bad vibe from Bill, I can't explain why though. Likes: Nan Flanigan and Pam. There was a good amount of her, but I still craved more... Loved her "Not Really" line Lol! Tara, surprisingly. It's good to see more from her character than a lip quiver, the Lesbianism I saw coming too, but I didn't mind it though. Love seeing her fighting! Jessica and Hoyt, I don't like that they fought, but any Jessica on my screen is a gift from Heaven. Eric with the power play of buying Sookie's house, this threw me for a loop!! Mab: Although I was confused as to what was happening in this scene and I wasn't crazy about the effects... I got a Maryanne, love to hate, and a little afraid vibe from her, if that makes sense. She needs to make a visit to Bon Tempe and wreak havoc. Lafayette's one liners. "10 if dey got dranks" Lol! Jasmine's last name (Reynaud) reminds me of Renard Parrish. Lastly: "I am near to pickled as it is!"... "I will breakout in hives!!" :laugh1: ... Don't know her name, but I want to see more of her!!!

I'm hoping she becomes a bigger part of the storyline, but there is obviously something going on between her and Bill it seems. I've yet to check out the second episode yet, but I plan on watching it probably before Sunday on HBO GO.

It would just be kind of cool to see things like the Queen/Bill fight and a few other things. I also agree with your Arlene point. I only like her because in real life she's married to Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus from Lost) hehe. And Sam just needs to revert back to his season one self, just like Tara. And finally, Pam is amazing.

I haven't read the True Blood books, but I've read the summaries, and in the books,
the attorney (who's also Andy's sister) dates Bill for a long time, while Sookie is dating around.
Eric is my favorite character so far this season, he's hilarious and so darn cute without his memories. Love his outfit in that pic tatertots, 100% Zoolander, and he's rockin it!
Just got done watching the episode and I'm really starting to hate the Jason storyline. It honestly could be left out and the rest of the plot lines could fill it's spot. I do agree with you jillibeans, about Eric, although I've always loved Eric more than most all the other characters anyway. Glad to see Alcide featured for even just a few minutes, but shocked that he's still with Debbie.

The campfire story time about "Ghost Dad" or whatever was so painful. I just zone out now whenever that comes on screen.

Agree about the total creepiness vibe from the Hot Shot crew. Ghost Daddy? *Shudder* I don't like where this is going. I also really, really don't like Porschia Belfleur. But that may be because I just don't like her with Bill. I like the Eric story...I mean, I HATE that he has amnesia, but I sure love to watch him on screen. :) And Jesus? You can go please.
I'm not a fan of the Jason side story, although I do like the idea of Eric having amnesia. It levels the playing field and gives him a real shot at Sookie now that Bill is some totally different character.
Probably my all time favorite scene as of right now! Eric is hysterical and I'll take Alcide with his shirt off any time and day of the week. ‪Eric God of the Sea‬‏ - YouTube So glad Jason finally escaped that hell hole. At least that brightened his story line up a little. Overall a great episode, but poor Pam. I hope she doesn't completely rot.
First of all, no real men look like that. You literally have to starve yourself of water to be that defined. Anyway... Glad that Jason escaped, but you know he has a panther calling. I like Pam so I hope she does not rot away. I have a feeling the witches will lose.

Can't believe you just ruined it for me :(
OH NO! Can't believe you just ruined it for me
No, he is that defined all the time. I was talking about the rest of us mortals. ;)

And Alcide is frickin jacked, real or not This episode needed more Jessica and Hoyt!
I think every episode needs at least more Jessica :D I love her snarky comments.
Yeah it does need more Jessica! However, it seems that True Blood keeps adding to their series regular list every season and that makes less room/screen time for some characters. Anyways it looks like Jason's going to be having some special dreams about Jessica, now that he drank her blood ;). Could totally see a new love triangle emerging...

But you might be on to something, that's a story line I could get into, as opposed to the whole Arlene's crazy baby thing. Also, as much as I want to dislike Tommy, It's almost impossible especially when he does things like get back stabbed by his mom, and call Sam by his full name even if he does precede it with a "**** you" haha
The Arlene and Tommy story lines are side play that don't offer anything that I would care about. Maybe someone that has read the books could chime in and say they are following the books? Otherwise, those are wasted minutes weekly.

Just a waste of space. I have to say that the only good part about this season for me so far is the Eric storyline. If they kill of Pam I think I might be done. It's just too bloated and I find myself wanting to fast forward through 80% of the show now.

As for the Mickens, I didn't mind them until reading this post. For some reason, them being non-existent in the books will annoy me come Sunday. Also, Bill/Andy's sister (can't recall her name) family tree thing was awkward haha
I think this season has been pretty awesome. There are quite a few story lines, and i've never read the books, but Eric and Sookie together melts my heart. I'm actually kind of curious to find out what will happen with Arlene and the suspicious baby doll her child sleeps with now. The previews for the next episode look insane, love it.
