For some reason the other day I was flipping around and caught this on VH1 then started watching it. It is actually interesting and kind of funny at times when not really meaning to be.
I think Steve and Arian should hook up.
Is he married?
I was thinking the exact same thing Insider.
But there is one thing I keep pondering is Steve straight?

He's straight. I can tell.
He's straight. I can tell.
I feel like I can tell too, but sometimes I have been shocked. I do think he has a thing for Arian though.
Hmmm, for some reason I'm leaning towards not gay. He has a long term girlfriend - though of course that means nothing hahaha. Sometimes when the girls are dressed up (or hardly dressed) he has this slightly leecherous look on his face that screams heterosexual.
I agree Bianary. There is something in his eyes and the way he says certain things that makes me think he's straight. Although, he could be a very good actor.
Ryan Seacrest has girlfriends, too. About him there really is no doubt...
Ah yes, but I've never seen Ryan giving the uncontrollable eyebrow raise/sleazy eye/creepy grin combo to some chick in lingerie spread eagle on a couch. I've only seen him give the calculating "I'm into women really" eyebrow raise and a faux creepy grin. Steve on the other hand I have, which convinces me that he's into chicks. There's a chance he might be a switch hitter, but I would put money on him more likely being metro hetero mama's boy.
I'm going to call it right now. Steve and Arian will end up in some sort of fling.
Have any of you read his interviews after each episode on VH1? I get the impression that he really isn't that fond of her.
I don't get the sense that he's that fond of her either, of course whether under different circumstances he'd sleep with her or any of the females on the show is an entirely different thing.

The only thing that threw me off on the sexuality question was his response to the following question:
What did you think of Arian’s comment about wanting to see if you really like women?
Ask any of the women I date and they’ll tell you that they have no doubt in their minds where my s*** swings.
Usually that kind of hypermasculine response would set warning bells off in my head. But I am still leaning towards him being straight - though at the end of the day that's neither here nor there.
Here's a fun discussion for us... My friend and I are talking about why we think Arian acts the way she acts. He thinks she just really likes *** that much. I think that's bull. Everyone (mostly) likes ***.

I get the impression that Arian may not have been the best looking girl growing up and once she developed a bit, she wiled out and started stripping therefore getting lots of ***ual attention from men all of a sudden and now she is under the impression that it is the only way to get a mans attention. I almost feel like she was raised to believe that women are nothing more than ***ual please-ers for men.
I don't really remember her back story that well, but I get the impression that she has just become a commitment-phobe. I feel like since she started to embrace her ***uality, and start stirpping, she has been thrown aside by guys after they get what they want from her which has led her to put up this guard where she is the one to initiate the ***ual relationship to take control. That way she can't be hurt if the guy doesn't want anything more than *** with her. By creating this pattern that she is only with guys for 2 weeks, she can get in and get out, satsify her *** drive and avoid getting attached.

Is "developed" code for plastic surgery and spray tan? I don't know, maybe she does really like *** but as Insider said, don't we all (at least those that have had enjoyable experiences)? I think it's more, she practically has daddy issues stamped across her forehead. Also after her reaction a couple of weeks ago the first thing that crossed my mind was that she has had some bad stuff happen to her that has lead to a deep mistrust of men and a need to take control ***ually. And I feel like am something of an expert on that because I, like RW Devyn, studied psychology on the "collegiate level" :buba:
(That was sarcasm btw in case you missed it. . .)
Maybe she does just really like skanky, back to back, anonymous *** though, it's certainly possible. More power to her if that's the case, guys act like big ole w****s all the time and no one tries to psychoanalyze them (though I for one think we should).

Yeap, but don't forget the really freaky looking lip injections.
I thought the same thing or something very similar but I don't really feel comfortable commenting on it when it is such a touchy subject for most people who have been through similar things.

Yeah when he said it would get her :in too trouble: so to speak, she lost it. Makes me think something has happened before :(

Understand not wanting to comment on it S_D. I don't know her so I could be really far off, especially considering that we all know what the magic of editing can do, plus they are all actresses/performers so maybe she just auditioned for the role of "loose woman" and maybe her script said that she was supposed to make a dramatic exit when Steve made the comment he made to her a couple of weeks ago. I hope I'm wrong, it's not something anyone should have to experience. Forgive me if I come off as being a know it all- I guess for me, I've been there, so some of the stuff she does almost automatically sets off warning bells, perhaps prematurely.
But I wouldn't want to see either Steve or his mom in anyway try to talk to her about that, I would in fact be offended if they did because they are in no way equiped to handle it appropriately. I was already uncomfortable with his suggestion that Arian is in some way inviting rape, I feel very strongly that no one invites rape. I know we all disagree about whether that was Steve's intent or not but I still didn't like it, it was clumsy and the whole "tough love" approach I think is dead wrong when it comes to something like that.
Moving on, Jessa has kind of crazy eyes. She looked kind of like she wanted to stab Steve. When she made that comment about not liking him I was reminded that she's the "fatal attraction" one hahaha. I don't maybe that's just some good acting though, if it is than she should be Glen Close in the remake.

ITA...I thought she was so pretty when she first came on the show but now she scares me, LOL.
Well Jessa's title is "Miss Fatal Attraction"!
Jessa is definitely emotional...she looked like she was trying to kill Steve with her eyes lol But he was basically like he didn't care if she liked him or not.
