Poor kid, but that was genius.
I kind of feel bad for him (it looked like he might cry) but at the same time it is great to watch Rob's gameplay.
He should have never shook hands with the enemy after that immunity challenge! ;)
Matt is such an idiot. I want to root for him so badly, but he really doesn't deserve it. Maybe God can answer this question: Why didn't Matt tell Rob about MIKE'S plan and throw Mike under the bus? Then he would've been "in" with Rob again, and maybe started to grow some sort of bond with the former Ometepe. STUPID GAMEPLAY, MATTY.
And yeah...I wonder when Redemption Island will go until. Again, I hate RI. Will RI give someone a straight shot to the Final 4? That's not exactly fair. I was kind of hoping they'd leave it behind and let the merge play out normally.
Crazy!!!!! This has got to be the best season of Survivor in recent years. As much as I dislike Rob, I can't help but crave more from this season.
Where the **** was Andrea after Rob approached her?! That's what annoys me, it doesn't explain whether she sided with Rob or just threw away her vote and didn't bother to tell Matt.

I feel the same way. I want to root for Matt, but he keeps bringing up the stupid God stuff. I am sure God wanted to protect the people in Japan, but instead he thought it was more important to help out Matt on a game......
Its just hard for me to root for people who bring God into stuff like this.

I agree so much! Only reason I root for Matt is because there's nobody else to root for :D
OMG Matty is so very adorable, but like really WHYYYY DID HE TELL ROB EVERYTHING?? I'm so over Rob, and all those dummies that follow him will be picked off one by one if they don't realize what he's up to. If it weren't for Redemption, Matt would never make it, gameplay totally terrible. I miss Parvati, she's my girl...total Survivor pro! They need to bring her back asap so she can school these boys.

I think she voted for Matt. This is my guess.
Grant - Steve, Mike, David, Ralph, Julie
Steve - Matt
Matt - Rob, Natalie, Ashley, Grant, Phillip, Andrea

That's how I saw it too. Andrea had to have voted for Matt, otherwise there would have been a tie.

You can always root for Rob or Grant with me ;)
P.S. I cannot wait to here what is aid about Pretty Pony in the blog later. Hehehe.
If I were the old Ometepe tribe, I'd definitely go after Mike next because in my eyes, he has the best chance of beating Matt at RI and finally sending Matt home. Matt coming back into the game could be very dangerous.
Matt had his chance last night and he blew it completely. All he needed to do was take Andrea over to the other side and blindside Boston Rob. That would have been one of the best moves of the game and if he had made it to the final 3 after that, he probably would have won. I really dislike almost everyone this season with the exception of Mike and Andrea. Hopefully one of those two can win it all, but my favorites never make it to the end so it's doubtful.

Seriously? Are you watching the same Mike that I'm watching? He's proved absolutely nothing other than getting demolished by Grant. And Andrea is really boring and is just floating by. So I'm hoping your favorites don't make it to the end.
I feel like an awful person for saying this, but God most likely doesn't care about someone playing Survivor. I was really getting annoyed at Matt for not playing the game because he felt like it would make God angry. Really, dude? REALLY?

He had opportunities to make a move and he decided against them because he thought he was doing what God wanted (to keep his word with someone that already betrayed him.) Mike approached him and gave him an option and if he had followed with that approach, it would have at least forced a tie rather then him going down without a fight. Rob had already sent him packing once and all signs pointed to that happening again. His reluctance to do what needed to be done, cost him.
From The West Wing:
You remind me of the man that lived by the river. He heard a radio report that the river was going to rush up and flood the town. And that all the residents should evacuate their homes. But the man said, 'I'm religious. I pray. God loves me. God will save me.' The waters rose up. A guy in a row boat came along and he shouted, 'Hey, hey you! You in there. The town is flooding. Let me take you to safety.' But the man shouted back, 'I'm religious. I pray. God loves me. God will save me.' A helicopter was hovering overhead. And a guy with a megaphone shouted, 'Hey you, you down there. The town is flooding. Let me drop this ladder and I'll take you to safety.' But the man shouted back that he was religious, that he prayed, that God loved him and that God will take him to safety. Well... the man drowned. And standing at the gates of St. Peter, he demanded an audience with God. 'Lord,' he said, 'I'm a religious man, I pray. I thought you loved me. Why did this happen?' God said, 'I sent you a radio report, a helicopter, and a guy in a rowboat. What the **** are you doing here?'

You should not feel awful. Matt and others who think that their God cares even in the slightest about their performance on a reality tv show should feel bad. Plus, I'm sure their God is enjoying Former Federal Agent? Phillip more than anything if he is watching at all. ;)
I can understand that. Like Matt said, they had had 15 days to build their relationships so Andrea probably got closer with everyone. Then seeing Matt as someone who was flaky and changed plans so easily she probably thought she was better sticking with her tribe than risk being on the bottom of the two alliances. Her tribe would be mad at her for voting against them and there were no signs that the other tribe were willing to bring her along. Matt was the one getting all of the promises of being taken further in the game and we never saw him say that he would take her with him. I would have done the same thing as Andrea.

I would have as well. That message that Matt got from Steve was great and all, but it didn't say "Vote for Grant and I'll take you and Andrea to the final 3".
Andrea's problem is that she would have been at the bottom either way; Zapatera would have gotten rid of her after they had the numbers because they're oh so tight, and Ometepe might have kept her through final 6, but she's clearly at the bottom of that alliance.
On a much more hilarious note...
Once every 5000 years a planetary alignment takes place. Gods are created, the winds howl, volcanos erupt and thus begins the wrath of the parasitic sea. Angry, foamy, cantankerous. The sea belches forth swallowing up anything and everything in its path leaving behind a stench so pungent and thick, the hairs inside your nose sizzle. Only one man on Earth can tame the parasitic sea and that man is Phillip Sheppard. A warrior with a strict moral code, Phillip Sheppard can talk the ear off the Pacific and turn it into a gentle babbling brook. The Atlantic could be a bubbling acidic cauldron of death and Phillip Sheppard would conversate it into submission. A true test of a man's skill and worth is his mastery over the sea. Tsunamis, hurricanes, gales... with spear in hand they are no contest for one Mr. Phillip Sheppard. With his pink panties hanging loosely around his nether regions, Phillip Sheppard commands them to "cease and desist" and then he reads them their rights or some **** like that. Poseidon Schmoseidon. Phillip Sheppard, he who chews his food in logarithms, is the real god of the sea.
Agreed. But I think she realizes that you have to make moves that will keep you in the longest and from then you have to either hope that someone else will mess up and become someone they don't want to keep around or you win the immunity challenges to get yourself one more day.
That blurb is brilliant. I think it will be my next tattoo to honor the great Phillip God of the Sea.

Even if Matt flipped without Andrea he would have been at the bottom of the totem pole as well. Either way Andrea probably ended up making the best decision because it keeps her in the numbers.
P.S. that was the best part of the entire blog this week.
