CBS couldn't have scripted better tribal dialog that what Phillip is tossing out there. They hit a home run with casting this time around (well, beyond the cookie cutter girls.)

Way better than the so called disaster that was the casting of last season.
This season is going down the tubes. It's no fun to watch. I can't remember the last time tribal councils have been this predictable back to back to back. Mike and David were by far my favorites of the [strike]meteocore[/strike] mediocre cast thats left. I guess I will root for Ralph, Julie and maybe Andrea now.
By far best moment of this episode was when Phillip called out David for moving during the challenge and David said, "Yeah, it's called scratching my a**".

I'm assuming you've never been a Rob fan. I'm finding this season way better than the past couple seasons other than Heroes vs. Villains. I don't care if it's predictable, but Philip is seriously the best thing that Survivor has seen in a while.

In other words: Your side is losing.
If they had not throw that competition, they'd probably be running all the way to the bank. It's a lesson learned for future competitors. Play to win every time.

This season is awesome. I'm enjoying every moment and can't wait for the next...

Definitely not a Rob fan, or a Grant fan, or a fan of the other two girls who are wrapped around Rob's finger who's names I can never remember. Phillip is very entertaining but he also needs to be on some serious medication.
ROFL.
I love Phillip. That is all.
As for the rest of the cast I don't even remember their names. :( Only people I know/remember are Phillip, Rob, Grant, Julie, and David... and of course Matt. ^_^

Or as Herm Edwards put it - "You play to win the game"

I agree whole-heartedly Bacchus, but you must admit, there is NO gameplay going on. Blindsides are the best ;-). Hopefully we'll see one soon.

Don't worry. Normally I'm the one whining because the people I want to win all get voted off in the first three weeks. We need that vibe around here to keep it real! :D

See the art of the blindside can't really be perfected when the person automatically doesn't get voted off and gets a second chance. That's how I see it at least. The more shocked the person is the better the blindside, but this time around it seems to be a brush off the shoulder because they get to try and come back. I think the only person really playing the game at the moment is Rob and as of right now I like that.
Rob = Genious. End of story.
Phillip is bordering amazing. I would love a spinoff of him, rooster and ron (sans christina).
That would just be torture. Maybe if it was just Philip alone, although I'd watch a show where they taught Rooster how to use proper grammar.

either this or Phil's Degrees
With this Zapatera not doing well crap, we're going to have to hear from Russell for 45 minutes on the reunion show about how, "I'm the best player ever. They voted me off and I still screwed them over". Maybe not that exact quote, but I'm guessing Russell will get more air time than half the cast (minus Rob for sure because he most likely is going to win this season).

Being I, along with most viewers, don't know even know the names of half the cast - I don't necessarily think this is a bad thing.
Russell will be brought to the forefront for a few reasons.
1. Ratings.
2. The action to remove him looks to be the pivotal moment of the game.
3. Ratings.
I remember a lot of the casts name like Mascaroni, Rooster, Assley, The Cuddler and Pretty Pony.
I hope Russell will not be at the reunion for leaking spoilers. And if he wins "The best player" Award with his 6 days on the island I will shoot the TV. I will also laugh, but still shoot the tv.
I honestly really like this season. Maybe some of it has to do because it's not last season, or maybe it's because Boston BOB is on it.
I do feel bad for the Zapatera tribe. They can't even play the game, because Rob has his tribe on lock-n-key. They can't even talk gameplay with anyone.
Wow. Rob is genious.

You can't forget about the little Mascarponi on the way and also [strike]Russell[/strike] Lucifer better not win the fan favorite, that would just be horrible.
I loved it when Phillip said that David's leg was about to be decapitated. That was probably one of the best soundbytes of the episode.
However, this season is starting to get predictable and I can't wait for the Ometepe 6 to turn on each other.
Here's one thing I'm concerned about...the jury. Normally the jury sits in on the tribal councils so they can see how things are going after their departure from the game.
How are they going to be able to do that on Redemption Island? If RI is changing and there are going to be 3-way competitions, are they going to farm in the two people waiting so that they can see who their competitor is? And when is the jury actually going to start? I'm guessing whoever loses this next duel will be the first member of the jury, but that means that the winners won't be able to watch the tribal council. Matt and Mike are missing out on all of the tribal councils as well as comedic Phililoquys.

I'm starting to hope that they will go back to the two people in the final format with seven jurors. It seems the most logical at this point if they are going to do the duels the way they are doing them. Unless we are all completely wrong and RI ends up being something where up to 5 or 6 people compete against each other to come back in (but I'm really hoping that's not the case).
I honestly thought RI would be over when the tribes merged or when the jury started. Who know's maybe next weeks episode will be the last RI? I read no spoilers, so it is just a guess.
A major part of the gameis listening to what is happening, so I hope they make some changes? maybe they will bring people on RI to Tribal Council?
This season has been terribly disappointing for two reasons:
1. The incorrect spoilers really made it seem like Ashley, Natalie, Andrea, and Steve were going to be GREAT players.
2. The show has been so predictable because the players are so weak. The Francesca and Krista duels were the only possibilities of a Matt loss and almost all of the votes have been too easy. Rob is playing the game and everything is going according to his plan alone.

That's what makes a great Survivor player. He definitely deserves to win or at least get fan favorite.
