He then moved to Texas to study nursing at Cisco Junior College and San Angelo University. He currently resides in Indianapolis. His hobbies include scuba diving, camping and coin collecting. His favorite sport is racquetball. He describes himself as strong, smart and brave. He is proudest of becoming independent/self-employed and being able to care for his family while not having to live in the nine-to-five world. Rupert placed eighth in Pearl Islands, and fourth in All-Stars. Even though he didn't win All-Stars, Rupert won $1,000,000 by the viewer's vote. He used the money to buy a home, set up a college fund for his daughter, pay off his and his mother's debts, and start Rupert's Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping troubled teens, especially those mired in the juvenile court system. Will Rupert win the $1,000,000 by actually winning Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains?
I really dread seeing Rupert on TV now that he has the chance to have an actual perception of how the fans react to him. I think he will be unbearable.
I hope he's not as obnoxious as he was on his two previous seasons.
Still obnoxious looking.

Im so over Rupert......I liked him the FIRST time I saw him. I don't think I can handle a THIRD time. I hope he's an early boot.
Rupert always annoyed him. I remember thinking I would like him because he helped troubled kids, but then I watched him play and there was something about him that was off... I can't pin point it, but he is a bit annoying in my opinion.

That's what really bothered me about him. I get being excited, but no need to be all "RARRRRRRRRRRRRR" x3.
I remember there was an episode where he whined about being on a tribe with mean boys (Fairplay, Shawn, and Burton). That always annoyed me that the editors shoved Rupert down our throats so much. With the other guys on his team and looking at how strong they are, I could see Rupert being one of the first guys to go.
