She attended Suffolk University, studying at both the main Boston/Beacon Hill campus and the University's West African campus, located in Dakar, Senegal. She paid her way through college working nights as a passenger service agent for a major airline at Boston's Logan International Airport, spent time as a receptionist at a high-end hair salon, and has even worked as a "historical interpreter" (a tour guide in costume) at historic homes in Salem, Massachusetts. She graduated in May, 2003, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Yates' main hobbies include reading and learning new things. She loves history and enjoys keeping ongoing lists of things to look up whenever she comes across something new or interesting. We last saw Courtney on Survivor: China where she made it to the end and claimed second place. How will she do on Heroes vs. Villians? Will she, once again, make it to the end?
I'm a big Courtney fan, I hope she does well also. I don't think she'll put up with Russ's behavior which may get her voted early if these people are cowards like the Samoa cast.

When did she become blonde?
She was always blonde....
I forgot about that, for some reason I thought she was brunette, probably got her and Amanda mixed up.

Hopefully some of these pros can do better than they did! I hope Courtney brings some laughs and the same sarcastic, dry wit I'm fond of.
She is going to get along so well with Tyson.
From cbs.com: Tribe: Villains Hometown: Boston, Mass. Current Residence: New York, N.Y. Personal Claim To Fame: “Punctuality.” Inspiration in Life: “The laughter of children.” Previous Finishes: China: Runner-up Favorite Past Moment: “Seeing my Dad bust out from behind the bushes at the family reward.” Previous Survivor She Respects Most: Yau-Man Chan (Fiji, Micronesia) Previous Survivor She Respects Least: “All the strong people, because they are so smug.” Why Did She Come Back?: “Couldn’t pass up the opportunity.”
If you close your eyes and listen to her speak, she sounds EXACTLY like Casey from the RW/RR challenges. Kind of performs like her too.
I can't wait to see Courtney again! She was always making me laugh during her season! Unfortunately due to her attitude, I could see her butting heads with Russell, Randy, Coach, Tyson, pretty much everyone on her tribe. I think she'll be an early boot. :(
