I doubt it's true, but it would be interesting to see.

I'm not putting much faith into it just yet.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they did Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty again.

They should again, but not for next season. Also, how would they name the season after that theme, I'm trying to come up with something but I got nothing.

That's where I'm stumped. I can come up with themes of 3, such as college students vs graduates/workforce vs retirees, but it's hard to come up with a catchy subtitle.

I think someone suggested Survivor: Clash of Classes. Ehh... it works, but it could be better.

They should just give it the name of the location, but I guess they won't because it's the same as San Juan del Sur.

They could do Survivor: Rivas

so they are staying in Nicaragua? I want them to go to a new place already. I would love for them to go to Africa again but it's probably unlikely with the Ebola scare.

This guys have a theory about it being celebrities vs. civillians

They film two seasons back-to-back, so 30 will be in Nicaragua. 31 & 32 could be in a different location, Cambodia & Malaysia were rumored for this cycle, so maybe that's where they'll go. I would love for them to go back to Africa!

Ebola has been around for years... The fuss right now is being blown out of proportion (for now at least).

That was a rumor going around for a while. I know Jeff Probst tried recruiting comedian Bo Burnham. I think it's stupid, it also doesn't fit the 3 tribe format. But you never know!

They could go to Madagascar or anywhere not in eastern Africa.

Why does it have to be three tribe format?

Why does it have to be three tribe format?

The only information known about this season is that it's 3 tribes.

Oh I'm not a huge fan of three tribes, you can't do one on one face offs like for survivor sumo

That's a horrible theme IMO. Blue collar vs white collar vs unemployed is just a stupid idea to me.

Yeah you can, there's always a tribe absorption/dissolve a few episodes in.

Which is why having three tribes is kinda pointless IMO. I'm just not a fan of it.

I mean most seasons see a swap around f14 and besides 2/3 times it has given us chaotic postmerges.

Favorite blindsides or feuds?

True I just like the two tribe idea better.

Favorite feud?

Corinne vs Sugar.

True I just like the two tribe idea better.

I like the three tribe set up in the beginning because it prevents a 5-6 person majority alliance from from forming too early in the game. When switches and the merge come around, there's usually more drama and scrambling.

I really hope the speculated theme is wrong because I just don't see the appeal of it, I like when survivor brings people who would normally never see each other together like Josh & Keith.

I wonder why it's so prevalent among people to think Cagayan was chalk filled with returnee calibur people.

Jeff himself said that he could see "Kass, Tony, Spencer, Tasha... (and one other person who isn't Woo that slips my mind, I believe)" from that season returning. That's a high number but half the post-merge cast got totally Tony'd and didn't play to the same standards that the aforementioned played.

It was nice to see Hayden make it deep into BvW... even if it was on the strength of him knowing some of the returnee cast from CBS events. He can actually play the game.

And? Tony is probably one of the better players we've seen in a while and returnees aren't back strictly because they're elite players. You could say that about a lot of winners like Tyson on BvW or Tom on Palau or JT in Tocantins. I mean Kass is god awful at the game, but she is probably the best character since, like Coach. I would also like to see Trish back from Cagayan.

I don't hold that against him seeing as that case could be made for half of the cast as they were returnees.

And Jeff is an executive producer and his opinion has its merits (though of course he's not the casting director nor mark burnett but his influence has been apparent, especially in these past 10 seasons).

Tyson... Tom... JT all played hard as did Tony, I looked at my post and between you and me I'm confused at what you're getting at.  And of course, Kass played a bad game though, ironically, her tragic flaw was being so bad that Woo lost any rationality inside his mind that he took Tony. Coach was still a solid player on his original season who made it deep, despite his pathetic gameplay on HvV.

Trish is just physically frail for Survivor, I was shocked she passed everything to get on, but she does have a personality.

I mean obviously, he's also said he wants Sarah back as well. He hasn't limited it to any number, he just mentioned in an interview that he would absolutely love to have the Cagayan final 4 back.

You made it seem as if Tony being dominant, took away from his cast and the potnetial for magic a second time around with at least 5-6 of them. I'm pretty sure Woo did what he did to look loyal and honest and was also brainwashed by Tony. That he was, Tony and trish were great characters and players as well. I just mentioned Coach to showcase how great Kass was, in that we haven't had a character so unique in at least 10 seasons. And yeah not sure what Trish's weight has anything to do with this discussion?

It did. 28 seasons deep into Survivor and people who made post merge played like they had never seen the show before especially when this season wasn't chalk filled with recruits. Trish's weight matters because she won't be asked for physical reasons (unless of course they limit a future returnee cast to those post-FvF2).

And I wouldn't say 10 seasons.... Russell... Malcolm... Cochran... and Kim (lol) all have unique personalities that worked for them to some degree.

I wonder why it's so prevalent among people to think Cagayan was chalk filled with returnee calibur people.

I mean Sarah definitely ****** up, Morgan, Woo, and Jeremiah were recruits, but besides that, I think everyone left played fairly well, except Kass, but I didn't mind, because she made the postmerge so great. Obviously mistakes were made, but that is something that can be held against any cast.  She won't? I mean I can understand if they didn't because they didn't like her too much: see her lack of an edit, but  Courtney Yates was asked back and she was like 98 pounds.

Those were all roles/characters we've previously seen with Boston Rob and Rob C and I love Kim, but she was incredibily boring. I don't think Kass is any good at Survivor, but an older mom who was rude and started trouble and wanted to stir up chaos and blinside people is something I don't think we've seen. It was especially refreshing after Lisa, Sherri Monica.

Wtf weight doesn't matter, Courtney has been invited back and she's a feather.

Irrelevent, but I think Courtney almost failed getting clearance from medical to play due to her weight on both China & Heroes vs Villains.
