I wouldn't call Russell's gameplay underrated. I'm sure everyone acknowledge his strategic competence. His social game is ***.

his gameplay is not underrated. He literally set the precedence for how the game has been played post-HvV. Russell is a LEGEND.
with that said, he played back-to-back and so I don't necessarily find it problematic that he played the same game twice that got him to the end. And he had zero opportunity to actually learn that exploiting the negative emotions of people to induce them to make terrible decisions is a lot worse than exploiting the positive ones (Sarah having Sierra believe she didn't vote her *** out, Jeremy having a genuine bond with the majority of the jury, etc.)
russell really only became absolutely terrrible when he tried to do the same thing on RI and clearly is an actual ******* on top of being very scummy.

His gameplay is underrated in the sense that no one at the time of Samoa or HvV respected the way he played but he did indeed play a fantastic game. Everyone on the jury either was there because of Russell either directly or indirectly and I dont think(in my opinion) people give him enough respect simply because he's an *******.
Someone like Boston Rob plays a similar game with lying, manipulating, and charming and gets all the praise and is seemingly adored from what I've come across in comment sections and boards.
Could Russell have tweaked his game to make more personal bonds with the jury or even made a better jury plea? Sure, but everyone knows Russell thinks too highly of himself to really ever change anything because he already thinks he's the GOAT.

James isn't even that great of a competitor, he's never once won immunity. James is the definition of looks like Tarzan plays like Jane
his social game got him outted the last time we saw him tho. He went home with 2 idols in his pocket. good competitor, awful at everything else.
I wouldnt mind Culpepper coming back. I like him a lot and feel he could win if he just tweaks his social game, his physical game is already on point.
