Survivor Caramoan: Fans & Favorites - Blindside Time
All bets are off when Bikal and Gota merge, as castaways reunite to plot a potential blindside in the new tribe. Also, with individual immunity now on the line, castaways must stomach exotic foods of beetle larvae and brains during a classic “Survivor” food eating challenge.
Seems really early for a merge, no?
Seems really early for a merge, no?
Not really. They are down to 12 and have finished 7 episodes.
Not really. They are down to 12 and have finished 7 episodes.
Damn. This is going faster than I thought. I thought there had only been 5 or 6 eliminated at this point. Some people are just that memorable I guess.
Phillip: "I threw the challenge today." Dawn: "NO WAY" The specialist can't give himself away!
Damn. This is going faster than I thought. I thought there had only been 5 or 6 eliminated at this point. Some people are just that memorable I guess.
I was kind of surprised when I posted the thread earlier as it didn't feel that far in to me either.
I'm trying to watch live, but it is hard with the Yankees already into the pen a second time tonight after 2.2 innings. ;)
Ugh, food challenges are always so disgusting. Those looked small enough to swallow live.
I've had balut before. It's ******* disgusting.
Good for Cochran!
Good for Cochran!
He just owned that challenge.
Ugh, food challenges are always so disgusting. Those looked small enough to swallow live.
I refuse to eat anything with a beak still attached. Not a texture I appreciate.
Phillip is so incredibly delusional. At this point, it's just sad.
Phillip is so incredibly delusional. At this point, it's just sad.
I was digging Phillip until the Brandon incident. Now it's sad, you are correct.
Aww, blindside. It could not have happened to a "better" person.
Aww, blindside. It could not have happened to a "better" person.
It is kind of funny that the person who was so excited for the blindside was the one who got blindsided. It was almost too obvious.
Corrine was too naive and bumptious. Like, come on, this is not your first game. She could bring more to this season, but as she did not, I'm glad she's gone.
I actually heard most of this episode since Philip had little to say (Thanks, editors!), so my mute button stayed mostly unused.
I kept thinking why doesn't Corrine just let them split the vote and then her Michael, Malcolm, Reynold, and Eddie vote out Philip
Why did the alliance of Malcolm, Michael, Eddie, Reynold, and Corrine try to vote out Sherri instead of getting her to join them? For me, that logic didn't make sense from the start.
I don't really dislike anyone this season now that Brandon is gone. There were 2 possible outcomes last night (Corrinne or Sherri) and I think I would have been fine with either one. Corrinne, Malcolm, Erik and 3 fans would have been an interesting thing to watch play out. But I'm just as happy with Brenda, Andrea, Dawn, Cochran and Erik in control (please just get rid of Phillip haha). They should have an easy road for a few weeks taking out Malcolm, Eddie, Reynold, and Michael. But I'll be interested to see who they target first in their group of 5 (6 if you count Phillip, but I don't want to).
Malcom had a great idea, but Corrine is an idiot and Erik was too flaky.
Why did the alliance of Malcolm, Michael, Eddie, Reynold, and Corrine try to vote out Sherri instead of getting her to join them?
Michael, Eddie, Reynold and Corrine don't strike me as the brightest crayons in the box.
It would have worked if Corrine didn't tell Dawn about the plan. The relationship between Sherri and Reynold was already really bad, so I don't think she would have aligned with them. They should have been able to get to 10 despite only having 5 solid people in the alliance. It really should have gone like this if Corrine wasn't an idiot: 1. Vote out Sherri 2. Let the Phillip think they will split the vote 4-4 between Eddie and Reynold (or Michael if one wins immunity) and blindside him. Then once you reach 10, worst case scenario is that you only have 5 people, 4/5 of the strongest players of the game, and 2 immunity idols. Of course, Corrine told Dawn about the plan for some reason. Of course, they could have pretended to want to split the vote 4-4 between Eddie and Reynold and then blindsided Phillip right away, but then you are only at a solid 5 with 11.
I was sad to see Corinne go I liked her and she would make me laugh. I cannot wait for Phillip to leave. Dawn lost points from me for telling on Corinne I would say and agree with what many have said that Corinne try to make a big move too early on the game.

She is part of a solid group of 4 in the majority alliance. Having Malcom and Corrine's alliance overthrow it and becoming 6th or 7th on the new totem pole would put her in a worse position in the game. It wasn't too early in the game to make a big move, but Corrine completely botched it by telling Dawn of the plan.

Am I the only Corinne fan? I know she's mean but she's literally the only one that has consistenly made me laugh out of the entire cast this season. Cochran is funny sometimes. I also noticed he is so much better now that he knows to be mellow and not a squirrely panicking paranoid OCD mess all the time. Because that was a disaster on his original season. It made me uncomfortable to watch. Obviously watching yourself on TV and getting to go back really does help you see whats wrong with you ahha

Sherry is boring. Now that Corinne is gone I like Malcolm, Reynold, Eddie, and Cochran, and Brenda. Dawn lost all my like for her when she immediately ruined Corinne's plan and tattled the information. Plus she cries too much and is weak minded. I like Reynold best only because he seems more positive than Malcolm, like more of a genuine person playing for fun. Malcolm is good but too arrogant, and kind of a snake. Secretly, of course Philip needs to be eliminated like, yesterday. He is too delusional. Corinne (on Phillip telling them he threw that one challenge) "It was taking everything I had not to burst out laughing when he was saying that to us. Like are you serious? You decided during the challenge that you were throwing it? Thats convenient, because thats right around the time you completely blew the challenge for us!"

She did a great interview with Parvati yesterday. It's the best aftershow on TV. I liked Corine. I wish her plan would have worked. I think her idea was good, she just didn't execute it properly. Mostly by telling Dawn.
