Couple of major points:

-tribe names are Manono and Salani, based on the preview. Men vs women, according to the guy who's provided all spoilers at Sucks.
-oldest female is 51, youngest female 22. Oldest man in his 50s, youngest 21. 18 castaways.

This season includes a little person, another Iraq war veteran hopefully not as boring as Mike from RI, another wife of a former NFL player hopefully not as scary as Taj, another former LAPD officer hopefully not as sucky as Cristina from Cook Islands, another pharmaceutical rep hopefully not as angry as Corinne from Gabon, and a lot of models. As you can tell, I am not excited about this cast.

I would hope that the title eliminates those who have been on more than twice (otherwise it'd be better off being something like Redemp...oh wait) but you never know what's running through those CBS execs' heads.
Apparently this season is being compared to Vanuatu...younger more attractive people are eliminated early. According to Sucks 5 people were on board a Fiji flight during filming which indicates they are prejury contestants. The contestants were described to all be under 40 years of age. The descriptions closely follows:
A black man
A short bearded man
A tall blonde guy
A dark headed girl with tattos
A girl with long dark hair
Those 5 are presumably
1.Bill Posley
2.Colton Cumbie
3.Matt Quinlin
4.Kourtney Moon
5.Alicia Rosa/Monica Culpepper
Based on social media stalking people believe the 6th contestant on board that Fiji flight was Christina Cha.
Some speculation has been brought about of who the girl under 40 with long dark hair is. Some believe it is Alicia, but other think that Monica could pass for under 40. Both have long dark hair. Based on the pattern of younger people eliminated I would have to agree with those who speculate Alicia as the girl with long dark hair.
Another speculation brought on by a poster at sucks insinuates that Colton is NOT a prejury boot...I guess Leif and Jonas could both pass for short bearded men but neither look under 40...so I'm guessing Colton is probalby the right guy here on the Fiji flight.

At least for the most part, a lot of them seem to want to make big moves and play the game. The cast as a whole seems very annoying. I mean Troyzan? Really?

Everybody says that kind of crap before the game starts though. Everyone wants to be remembered for something and almost all of them never do anything. News flash: you can't be known as the nice guy who slits people's throats when necessary. You can't say that you will ruin someone if you don't like them. That's not how this game works and clearly you have never watched a single season if you are going to say stuff like that.

Yeah that guy I would guess was recruited. He reminded me of Matt for some reason. I just hope they don't come off as annoying as they already have.
The cast spoilers began appearing on Sucks in Oct 2011 from a user named Castaway208. A RFF post appeared on August 20, 2011, during filming and well before any cast spoilers were present, The post descrbes a traveler running into what they believed to be the pre-jury survivors on their sequestered vacation. 5 people were described and are believed to be Kourtney, Matt, Bill, Monica, and Colton. The descriptions clearly describe Kourtney, Matt, and Bill, but I am less convinced about the other 2. If the post is credible, 5 out of the pre-jury members are known.

-Dalton Ross (from EW.com) states there is a medevac this season; according to her Twitter, Kourtney broke her left arm.
-Christina tweeted she was "still on Fiji time", which would indicate she was pre-jury
-There is a tribe swap at one point; according to posters at sucks, Michael and Jay and Christina and Alicia swap places.

I think Sucks has been overanalyzing the promos though. I've been over there to read the spoiler discussion and they have a few things wrong. It seems as though the fiji flight 5 was actually correct, they just missed the description of Nina, which would indicate that Kourtney, Matt, Bill, Nina, Monica and a short bearded man (Colton or Lief) are the first 6 boots and Chelsea is NOT one of the first 4 boots.
Next episode is titled "Thanks for the Souvenir", which screams blindside with idol in pocket. I would be ok with dealing with Colton for another week if it means he gets blindsided with an idol in his pocket.

This would be fantastic! I mean, I wish he would go this week, but a blindside before the merge would make me happy and may redeem this boring season so far, especially if it's Colton being voted off.
Probst also said that episode 6 is historic for one reason and that history is going to repeat itself. Christina has been the suggested boots for this week and Monica the week after, and one person speculated that one of them finds an idol or has immunity, gives it to someone else, and is then voted out. I'm not sure who would be so stupid to do so, but I guess we'll see.

Anyone would be better than Colton at this point for my viewing experience.
There's one spoiler going around saying Christina is next voted out (whether that be ep 6, or ep 7 due to a possible ep 6 medivac)
But there's also this boot list. It was posted before the season started as someone's predictions, but it's been gaining traction as a real possibility since it's gotten everything right so far.

After Kim's conversation with Jay and Troyzan, then finding the idol, I had her pegged as a potential winner. I have serious doubts about the list, but I do think she can get very far in the game.
CBS has actually spoiled quite a bit for this week:
1. It is the Survivor Auction, and one castaway gets a letter from home.
2. Troyzan buys an immunity challenge advantage at the auction and automatically gets to move on to the finals.
3. The immunity challenge is the "let's do stuff we already did" challenge.
4. The final 4 in the immunity challenge are Troyzan, Kim, Tarzan, and Christina.
Given the immunity idol hanging with Troyzan's shirt and shorts, posters at Sucks seems to think he might be this week's winner.
Kim, Kat, and Leif are all seen in a future challenge...so it's not them. That means it's either Tarzan, Alicia, Christina, Chelsea, or Sabrina this week.
