Shutter Island
Has anyone seen this? I watched it tonight, and I was very VERY surprised. It was good. Really good. Like, CRAZY twist Sixth Sense good. I would totally watch it again. Very dark and creepy. Good spooky music through-out, but nothing cheesy. Great acting with both Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo, though I've been a fan of Leo's for a long time. One of the better movies I've seen in awhile and I highly recommend it. In fact, I came right back here to tell everyone about it! :)
I wanted to post a thread like this, but I thought it was already posted, so I opted not to. Shutter Island was an amazing movie. I am not going to lie, I am a movie buff and usually know the ending to all pyschological thrillers, so I kind of had an idea about the ending, but there were so many twists and turns, I started questioning myself. It was done really well. The acting and story was great. I definitely recommend it! I am definitely on the same page as OPD!
I just read the wikipedia entry about this movie and I'm upset. I was expecting something different but the way I predicted the ending it turned out the way. Well, a little.
Insane movie! It was really good and should be up for next years Oscar's!

Why would anyone read a synopsis of a movie off of Wikipedia? At least go to IMDB and see the people's comment. Sometime's watching things happen, instead of reading about them, are way better. You see different things unravel...

My boyfriend is obsessed with this movie and he hasn't even seen it yet, still debating weather I wanna see it or not.
Teej do you like Pyschological Thrillers, that really make you think? It's not so much a "Horror" movie, but there are disturbing images and scenes that will give you goosbumps.
