I agree scream is a trilogy they shouldn't mess with it.
Yeah it's better as just the three movies buuuutt from what I hear it seems to be moving forward for now so I might give it a chance when or if it eventually comes out

What?? A new Scream?!?! Please don't mess with a good thing!!!
Yeah it's better as just the three movies buuuutt from what I hear it seems to be moving forward for now so I might give it a chance when or if it eventually comes out
If Scream 4 does hit theaters i will 100% go see it, but i prefer it left alone.
I agree, they should leave the Scream trilogy alone! Although, they have been talking about making Scream 4 for YEARS, so who knows if it will really happen or not.
If Scream 4 does hit theaters i will 100% go see it, but i prefer it left alone.
Yeah I mean I would go see it and give it a chance despite that I think it could be just three. Who knows it could be the best one out of them or the worst. Now what I really want to see is an Austin Powers 4!

And that is saying a lot becaue I don't really like "scary" movies anymore (I am a wuss, LOL) Austin Powers 4 is something I have been waiting for as well...I love comedies.

And Nick, I watched Scream (1) more than 75 times, lol. I watched it on dvd for like 2 weeks then scream 2 for another 2 weeks and just finished scream 3 again like last week. I hate scream 3.
haha i'm a wuss too! i doubt i would go see this! way too scary for me... well at least too scary for not having anyone to hide my face behind! haha
haha I love horror movies and I use to love those old slasher films especially Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street. I love comedies too and Austin Powers 4 is something I have looked forward too for years as well but I hear it might be coming out sooner than later.

Let'[s hope its better than the travesty part 3 was.
I think they should leave it alone but with that said, i will be there opening night. I just can't NOT see a horror movie, no matter how bad it looks.

I generally am easy to please I only have a few movies that I would rather watch paint dry than watch again. So I figure it can't be as bad as some things we've seen over the years and it'll be interesting to see what they do with it.
Me too OPS. I went to see prom night and got made fun of so much from him. I don't know, theres just something inside of me that makes me see a scary movie, hoping it will be great. But unfortunately i havent seen a good once since the classics (nightmare on elm street, halloween, friday the 13th). Speaking of which...theres a new friday the 13th coming out. Wooooooo.

Kevin Williamson and Wes Craven really need to redeem themselves for not only Scream 3 but also for the cinematic abomination that was Cursed. But stay away from the Scream franchise, first was was great, second one good, third one terrible. I've been a horror fan since i was a little kid and also feel the need to watch bad films though I don't waste time or money at the theaters on ones that look they will obviously be terrible, for those I wait til they hit dvd or cable. thannkfully my wife will watch any horror movie I put on and I love her for it. Over the weekend we watched The Ruins, great movie. It doesn't go for cheap scares. It builds the tension with atmoshpere and character development. It looks gorgeous on Blu-Ray too. Besides The Ruins I can reccomend a few others I have seen this year either through the awesomeness of Blockbuster Online or torrents. Check out - The Signal, Inside (french) and [REC] (spain), The Strangers. The Orphanage was good and spooky but I wouldn't necessarily call it a horror movie.

As for Scream, I hope that they do it justice since it is inevitable that it will happen...perhaps they want to make up for scream 3

And quarantine is a remake of rec. Also, the ruins was a good movie? So why did it fail at the box office?

i cant believe they don't want Tara Reid. Its not like she is known for horror movies or anything anyway, right. right?
i cant believe they don't want Tara Reid. Its not like she is known for horror movies or anything anyway, right. right?
Tara Reid has sorta not been in the limelight lately and the last movie I saw her in she didn't do that good of a job either. I don't hate her or anything just saying that she has fallen a little or whatever lol
