Scary returns for the week's new releases
''30 Days of Night'' opens at No. 1, but debuting movies from Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Halle Berry bomb big-time More...
These movies all look like junk. The only one I have any interest in is Michael Clayton and that is more of a rent then a go see......it makes perfect sense that the box office is down when Hollywood is feeding us this total crap! I am not sure if it is I who have changed or if it is Hollywood, but it seems to me like the number of movies that I am interesting in seeing on a monthly basis has dropped drastically in the last few years...
I think it's just as simple as it being the time of Halloween. People are looking for scary movies. The previews to this looked pretty darn scary to me, so I don't think I will be watching.
