Asamber, your logic is strange to me. I didn't mean that it's serious money, but it is something people take seriously. If someone said play rock paper scissors against me for 20 bucks, I would try to figure out what they play most, or if they just go random. I mean, anybody who is a competitor would want to know where he/she can better themselves to be better then other competitors. It's normal. And comparing major league baseball to little league would make sense, if the players didn't care to win. But here on this show, the players want to win. Why else would they be there?
If Ev simply just watched the season thats one thing. But when V said "studied" i pictured her sitting down in front of a tv for the day with a copy of VR and watching it taking notes of Veronica. So clearly my take on the word studied was wrong. But as you can see from the way i pictured it, its a tad over the top.
I think its odd how Ev would ever know Veronica was going to be on the challenge considering i doubt they talk.
Almost everyone on the challenge list knew of every other person on the list. When the first availability call goes out, people begin to talk to each other. As I've written elsewhere on this board, I was present when Devyn and Baya received their calls. Both obviously declined (due to other business). Tyler, Dave Sky, Will, Trisha, and several other were initially called as well. If I knew that last month, then so did the vast majority of cast members.

I agree. It's nice to win. If there are specific things you can do to help you win, why not do them? It doesn't matter if it's only for a few thousand dollars; I'm a grad student, and trust me, it would be a lot nicer to win a few thousand dollars than not. I don't see why helping yourself along to that goal is problematic. In the scheme of our lives, the challenges might not be all that important, but to many of the people who do them, it's a good opportunity to get a little extra money, and some even see it as a job. While the challenges don't offer as much money as the Amazing Race or Survivor, chances are none of our cast members will ever be on those shows. You can only win the games that you play, and if the challenges are the game you can play, I don't see any reason not to try. If you're going to do it, you might as well do it.
I don't think little league is a great parallel, because a lot of those teams are more about having fun and learning a game than winning. But if we were talking about high school baseball, for instance, I'd contend that if those players said, "Well, we're not in the majors, we're only a high school team, so we shouldn't try too hard..." well, that would be a pretty dismal and unproductive attitude. Why bother even playing if you're going to approach it that way? I respect Ev for putting an effort in on everything she does. I think it's a good quality in life.
Man I'll seriously stop watching the season if Veronica goes home early, just like I did with RRVR.
Haha, yeah. Veronica is really good TV..
Any ideas on who is sleeping with who in Thailand yet?
I heard Kim and Evan were keeping themselves busy as well as Casey and Darrel.
Do u care to tell us where your getting this info from?

What are you implying?

Casey and Darrel I could see happening. That chick has to hook up with whoever she can while she is still there. Wonder if Johnny Bananas is jealous? Darrel is a good looking guy.
Kim and Evan not so much. At least I am hoping that Kim has better taste than that lol

If we don't even know what the challenge entails yet, how would we know who was hooking up? You seem to be informed on who is "keeping busy", why don't you tell us?

Casey and Darrell were close on FM. They slept in the same bed together but they both said nothing happened.
Johnny Bananas and Casey hooked up on the Duel (it was said in every aftershow) and on Gauntlet 3, but last I knew, Bananas had a girlfriend.
And hey...Evan's not so bad. I don't think Kim would ever hook up with him, though.
I love when people say its serious money on a RW/RR Challenge. Years ago [maybe around Gauntlet 2 airtime] Newsday [a NY Newspaper] had a funny caption under a picture for the new season of the challenge. It was something along the line why watch people fight for real money [One Million Dollars and a Survivor Reference was mentioned], but watch people got crazy for just a couple grand [RW/RR Challenge Reference to the new season]. Looking back it might have been for the Inferno 2, i forget.
On the gauntlet 2 when the rookies won. After winning 25 or 30 grand Susie said "I'm just a girl from Pittsburg, and that's a lot of money" It is a good amount of money but it's nothing compared to what winners of other shows like survivor get.

That's true, but none of these guys are gonna be going on Survivor or Amazing Race anytime soon. Plus a lot of the challenges have multiple prizes, instead of just one big prize giving them a better chance and winning something and these cast members get to come back multiple times to win money making their potential pot much bigger.
Yea that attitude doesn't seem to suite Casey at all, because ¡t doesn't match her performance. I dislike all the fresh meat kids.
I would choose Casey over Diem, Diem is so lame and she always want someone to feel bad for her, and that's annoying.
I think that the more I see of the Fresh Meat cast, the more I don't like them. Really wish Aviv and Linette continued to do challenges instead of the "Hollywood Girls", Casey and Diem, but I guess they weren't "Hollywood" enough(lol). Evelyn, I actually like. She seems to be there for the competion, not the famewhoring. Don't get me started on the guys. I hope Syrus and Darrell kick their *****.
Just stating the obvious...again. That is why a lot of people don't like her. You should see some other stuff that is said about her on other forums, but I won't get into that.
I wonder how Diem's edit will play out the rest of the season. You would think with the whole Shauvon/CT thing people would be more sympathetic towards her but the opposite happened. I can't believe she went on this challenge knowing Shauvon would be there. She seems like she has somehing to prove especially since little time has passed since the last one.
Man I'll seriously stop watching the season if Veronica goes home early, just like I did with RRVR.
So there's little hope for our Queen V??? Say it isn't so! Looks like we're stuck watching another season of fresh meaters. Hope the newbies from Hollywood(Bri especially) and Brooklyn come through . ..

I could see Casey trying to take it to the next level with Darrel. Don't know if he has a gf or not but I don't think Casey is going to last too long on this challenge so she better work quickly LOL I wouldn't blame her if she tried Darrel is a good looking dude.
I know that Casey and Bananas have a history I'm just curious if it would bother him or not. If he does have a gf I would hope he leaves that nasty attitude on the challenges.
I know that Evan is your boy but I don't see Kim as the hookup type. We haven't seen her getting amorous with anyone on the Duel yet and I don't recall her fooling around with anyone on her season of RW either.
Ok: can we just ragging on the fresh meat kids? Beating a dead horse again...
Kim was hooking up with Dave on her season.
As for Diem, all that has happened months ago, and she is probably over it.
Umm acturally when the Rookies won Susie said "I'm just a girl from pittsburgh and that's a lot of money''
And Kina stated that she's a rich *****!
I think that is exactly what ballinbroken wrote, minus the "h" in Pittsburgh, I don't know why you are correcting them.
FYI I wasn't correcting anyone, and I wasn't reading his post properly. If I knew that he wrote the same thing why would I re-write it? It was a small mistake :)

O ok, I thought you were just correcting the quote and maybe had left out a word or something to make it different.
I'm indifferent to see Sarah from Brooklyn on this challenge, I mean, I hear she is one double sided **** , so It will be nice to see her up against other touch chicks.
I wish they would put Sara from Hollywood there, I know for a fact she was edited to be one sweet christian girl, challenges bring out the worst in people.
I wonder why MTV does not invite new faces into these shows?
I'd love to see ..
Lacey- Denver
Jose- Key West
Parissa and Trisha - Sydney
Baya, Kaitlin, or Devin from Brooklyn..
I'm tired of same dirt like Casey, Diem, Kenny, Evan..
I always get the Austin, Denver , and Key West kids all confused.. they all became friends around the same time and they were in challenge after challenge.

Then don't watch.
BTW, We haven't seen Casey in two challenges and Lacey was from Austin.
Well some people don´t compete for the money, like the Miz said on BOTS "I don´t care about the money I am only here to kick road rules ***".
In addition why the **** does Casey has to be in every challenge Wes is I mean Wes was only in two challenges and she was in those two as well. This girl should leave was alone she just seems like Wes´s little annoying sister.Poor Wes he has always stand Casey on this challenges.

All the Brooklyn girls were invited. They declined. Even Trishelle was invited. Unfortunately for us, a lot of the same people accept their invites, thus, we usually see the same faces on these Challenges.

Calling people "dirt" is a little harsh.
What exactly is a "double sided ****", and who do you hear this from?
How do you know for a FACT that she was edited that way?
These are all pretty big statements to make.
