RW/RR Challenge: Filming Fall 2008

Yes, but only some will make it past Thanksgiving my dear OPD! V1, any info on why Challenges have been taking longer to tape then the occasional month? Happy she is on the Challenge though.

Brooke was an early pick to be on this Challenge for me. I mean she was supposed to be on this one. Is casting over V1 or Bacchus, if you would like to tell?

I've decided to begin working on a film that will probably take two years to complete and hope to shoehorn a reality show in the middle somewhere.

Hahaha LTR, KellyAnne just might make this one too because of how absolutely dramatic she is on The Island. Another pick could be Aneesa, since she was also supposed to be on this one if it weren't for her making arrangements. At least that's what I think V1 said.

You think we see Trisha, Parisa, and/or Issac? I would love to see those 3, Brianna,Kendal, and Jillian on this challenge

you all are going to think I'm crazy for saying this...but I would LOVE to see Beth on another challenge! Naturally they would gang up on her but I like the chaos that her being there causes...great tv! I wish Coral would come back but for different reasons...I would like to see her win one more before she retires. Same for Rachel, Veronica, and Shane

Although, she is newly married and with a baby on the way....so I think doing another challenge in the near future is pretty far from her thoughts right now.

Beth is one of my business partners and a very close friend. I would have loved to see her do another challenge, and she certainly wanted to do one. She is now nearly 7 months pregnant and her full term should be around Dec 1, so she can not be on the next challenge. Further, if the trend toward austere living conditions continues like The Island, don't look for her to be interested. She see the challenges as a paid vacation from her normal life in LA. If it is not something more enjoyable, don't look for her involvement. She is a 4-5 star hotel person (and so am I). Further, the show does not have much history of casting married people for the challenges. BMP always wants Tonya to act or be single, even though she has been married for about 4 years. God help us all if they were to cast a group of non-drinkers, non-druggies, non-sluts on any challenge. Just imagine how terrified the editors would be if what they had to work with was half the cast whose best entertainment on any evening was a makeshift "Friends of Bill" meeting. Now that I think of it, I could name a sizable from The Island who probably should be in one of those meetings.

I agree with the whole Beth thing. I love seeing her on challenges, she adds a certain level of drama to them. I think she is concentrating on her new family though right now.

The docs were completely wrong. I'd look for there to be a Beth show before any return to the challenges, and she probably will show up in a guest role on one or two other reality shows next season. Because of her pregnancy, we had to pass up one of those opportunities in the current season.

Not saying she's old just saying that I don't think its all that common is it?[/QUOTE] It's very common where I'm from (Bay Area) to become a first-time mother in your late thirties/early forties. :) It seems Beth has been living a very successful and busy life, and now she's at a place to be a mom. That's my guess. And it makes me like Beth more. I admire people who wait until they are really ready for that commitment and responsibility. It's not about the age at all, not even physically. In past Challenges, Beth has been stronger and healthier than most of the younger women, and could probably carry, give birth to, and raise a child with less complications than most of them. Now I want her back on screen! But enough with the "Old Beth", "Fat Beth", "Bethasuarus" storylines. Ugh.
