Her only weakness is her temper, and when the pressure is on, there's always a chance for a wild emotional freak out! Evelyn comes into The Ruins with a determination to win. With her mind always on the game, Evelyn tends to distance herself from the other players. As a result, she often comes up short in the social aspects of the competition. Will her physical attributes be enough to earn her a claim in the cash at stake? Challenges: Fresh Meat, The Inferno 3, The Gauntlet 3, The Island, The Ruins. Harrison, NY

No one is going to take her into an elimination watch.
I love Evelyn. I just didn't like how she handled Gauntlet 3, though. She had nothing to lose by challenging the "alpha males" because all they were doing was using her.
I didn't like Evelyn on G3 and previous seasons. But on the Island I liked her so much. I think she'll be a powerful force.
Oh Ev, we will enjoy seeing you.
I actually like Ev on The Island but then I rewatched the Gauntlet 3 reunion. If she had stood up to Coral then I would be cool with her but she talked big behind her back and acted like a victim at the reunion.

she is a powerhouse and every time she was on a challenge after FM she made it to the end so this time around it may be the same but I think Veronica is going to stand up to her.
I'd actually like to see Ev and Veronica be civil with each other and maybe even friends. If Veronica has any respect from the cast like she used to (of course that's when everybody was buddy-buddy with pretty much everybody, and FM on has been the turning point) then Ev and her would be strong in the same alliance.
Something tells me she's going to trust Johnny, Evan and Kenny and get thrown under the bus.
I dont think that she will. After the Island didn't she say that she regretted even going on their boat?
Evelyn discussed in her blog her thoughts after watching the first two episodes of "The Ruins." She mentions how she feels it was a fair portrayal of the events that went down. She goes into greater detail on things, so here's the link. You might need to be friends with her first to read it. I'd post it on here, but I'm not sure what the rules are about that. Ev takes this **** way to seriously...she needs to get a life. No need for revenge, just don't make the same mistake. This is the RW/RR challenge, not the Olympics.

I wonder what Ev would have said if Coral had cried at The G3 Reunion...
:( I already miss Ev.
I love Evelyn, I think she's well-spoken. But I'm curious where her anger towards EVERY girl on her team (minus Veronica) comes from. I could see why she hates Susie and Johanna -- that's just a given. Evelyn's probably mad at Katie because she voted against her, but she seemed very reluctant and backed into a corner and in her confessional even said she felt bad for Evelyn -- and on twitter after the episode aired expressed her sympathy for Evelyn after all of that went down. Derrick did the same thing. As for Ibis, she probably just went along with what everyone else wanted because that seems to be what she's been doing for the first three episodes. Let's see, who's left? Tonya and Veronica. I'm not sure what Veronica did to earn Evelyn's respect, but then again, the episode doesn't show everything. And on a daily, Veronica is one of the people who said goodbye to her. As for Tonya, according to a message she left me on myspace, she was very against the decision to throw in Evelyn against KellyAnne, thought it was a ******** move and thought her team used Evelyn. Soooooo, I hope Evelyn figures out who exactly was involved and doesn't get mad at the wrong people.
Will someone copy & paste the blog. I don't have a myspace & don't plan on making one just to read her blog lol.
Will someone copy & paste the blog. I don't have a myspace & don't plan on making one just to read her blog lol.
Here it is: "Sunday, October 18, 2009 What's Next Well guys, I'm going to be gone again for an extended period. I just received my Australian Visa, and plan to travel that country, as well as parts of Indonesia and New Zealand, for a period of 3-6 months, starting in mid-November. I finally saw the Ruins, as well as the Aftershow, and I feel like it was a pretty fair representation of how things went down. I'm still phenomenally embittered toward every person who was involved in ******** me over that way, but they'll get theirs. I said it on the Aftershow and I'll say it again: I'm going to get even. I think the major flaw with the Ruins, the cardinal mistake -which the producers of the show should have addressed beforehand- was that the champions faced off against the challengers in elimination. This season should have been teammates battling one another. Best believe Wes and I would've *****ed *** up BIGTIME. Given all of the bad blood within teams, it would've made for a helluva season. As it is, who really cares about Wes vs. Chet, Susie vs. Brianna, or Syrus vs. Adam? If it had been the other way around you'd get me vs. Susie, Tonya vs. Veronica, Wes vs. Kenny...So many great match-ups, and most of them real grudge matches. Just my thoughts! I should note, Veronica's the one champion girl who's got a pass with me in the future. Cool chick. The rest can expect to face me one on one whenever we're invited back. A few challenger girls too."
The comment about Veronica being the only Champion girl to have a pass from her is what made me wonder if Evelyn's upset with all of the right people. At least judging by what some of them have said after the show, most of them seem to be on her side. Also, I think she's really got a good point about the Ruins matchups. I think the season would have been much much crazier if it was teammate vs. teammate.
if it was teammate vs teamate then they might as well as called it the Gauntlet 4
Interesting Veronica got a pass with her when Ev apparently was planning to do something to get rid of her in the game...
She also mentioned a few Challenger girls would get theirs... Is KellyAnne on that list? Hey, if i don't ask, who will? I would think maybe Kim's one of them considering how all she does is trash talk her OWN team and maybe even Casey since for some reason, she ALWAYS has a P.O.'d look on her everytime the elimination rounds are going on.
I think Casey is def one of them, in one of the dailies she is joking with Kenny how she basically masterminded the whole idea and was laughing about it with him and Sarah who seemed like she was part of it as well. I think Kim and Shauvon were behind the plan as well, although I highly doubt Ev would waste her time getting back at Shauvon in the future since Shauvon is basically useless.
Why does Evelyn only give a pass to Veronica? Yes, Katie voted to match up Kelly Anne vs. Evelyn, but only two years before that, Evelyn gladly made herself a part of the Evan/Kenny clique and threw missions with the intent to screw over Katie.
Why does Evelyn only give a pass to Veronica? Yes, Katie voted to match up Kelly Anne vs. Evelyn, but only two years before that, Evelyn gladly made herself a part of the Evan/Kenny clique and threw missions with the intent to screw over Katie.
Evelyn never threw a mission. She just didn't stop the one's who did. She has apologized to Katie about that since and the two of them were fine going into this challenge. I'm just surprised Evelyn's mad at Katie still, even when Katie has shown a lot of remorse this time around for the decision that was made. I figured they'd just call it even haha.
So that just proves Ev is a child. She screws people but apologizes and the beef is squashed, but after some people show remorse and apologize, she still wants revenge? Lame.
I think Ev was put on the show too young and didn't mature the way she probably would have if she had gone to that University and played sports there for a while then done the Real World she probably would have gotten over the whole sore loser thing
Well, if my memory serves me correctly, Evelyn was 18-19 years old when she was selected to be on Fresh Meat. She was in college and trying to be in the Olympics but put that on hold to be on the Challenges.
I think that this whole challenge was karma for what Ev did on The Gauntlet 3. What goes around comes around....
I do think she has a right to be angry with the JEK clique who seemed to pit Evelyn against Kelly Anne based on malice, but I think the girls are a slightly different story. Don't get me wrong, I unmistakeably dislike girls like Johanna and Susie but it was smart for each and every girl on the Champion team to want the Challengers' strongest girl out of the picture, and Evelyn gave the best chance to do that. It wasn't as much that they were followers in this instance, in that it was the best strategic option for them. Though Katie, Evelyn and Wes would have been wise to have banded together to throw JEK *********** Susie in and overthrow the team dictators.

She's still immature, and takes this way to seriously. I don't think that she understands they are filming TV show. I think Ev is just as arrogant, and thinks she's the baddest out there. I think its funny how she said she doesn't consider these people her friends outside of the show (save for Kellyanne and maybe Wes) but she's all butthurt they would put her in against KA. Yeah, it was shady how it went down, but in reality, it was smart move for the champions. And then on the aftershow there is talk of her trashing Kelly Anne and her even telling the champs that she would go in against her? Ev is not as innocent as she says she is. Shut the **** up, move on, and kick *** in the next challenge. PS. It cracked me up when her and Wes were in the room voting. "THE CHALLENGE IS OVA! O-V-E-R." Really though? And were calling Johnny, Kenny, and Evan, the immature ones.
